Nice place for a short or long Trip, located in a Forest, Café, souvenirs, Place for Tent, Accommodation for rent. Special in the Winter months.

Lovely place to be. Espacially in rainy season as wild flowers bloom and grass are so green. Campsite and cabins are available.

Tips : Bring of rent a 4 wheel drive if you want to drive through the nature route. Montain bike will aslo do wonder.

Visitor. Quiet river and nice staff. Entrance is free. You give your id card at the booth and you pay whatever you have to pay when you are departing. 30b per person for tent. One bad thing, no electricity available. The was nose from construction, they were repairing the water pipe for the toilet, but it was finish the next day. I really enjoyed my stay.

Quiet place for camping with beautiful savanna views. Camping gear can also be rented at the headquarter if you didn’t bring your own. The roads in the park are rough and a 4wd vehicle is recommended.

Thung Salaeng Luang was proposed for inclusion in the national parks system In 1959. Thung Salaeng Luang was declared a national park in 1972.Communist insurgents as well as hill tribes and other intruders have destroyed some of the park's flora and fauna over the years.The park consists of limestone hills, slate and hardpan at altitudes ranging from 300 to 1,028 meters.Thung Salaeng Luang is inlaid with meadows, especially in the southern portions of the park. The park is the source of numerous streams. There are large salt licks at Pong Sai in the northwest and Pong Thung Phaya in the southwest. The Wang Thong River flows through the park.

Very nice big forestry in the mountains between Phetchabun and Phitsanulok - roads accessible by car, incredible flora with amazing sounds of wind and insects and birds and leafs; the energy is super high in there - just breathing and walking produce very strong feelings

Atmosphere & super fresh.

Here's a head quarter offering many nice houses among big trees but to explore the pine forest , there's another area 60 kms away ,1.30 hours by car.
