The Golden Castle, Wat Tha Sung

This is a highlight of Uthai Thani and should definitely be on your list if you're visiting the province. If you also visit Wat Chantaram there are little trucks that will take you to and from the Golden Castle. Besides the castle itself which is really beautiful with its courtyard and flowers, there are also a few lovely buildings, statues and smaller temples you can see in the immediate area, so take a walk around. The interior of the castle is impressively decorated with gold and mirrored materials. You can go upstairs and see dazzling displays, including a mirror room which makes it look like there are infinite golden buddhas around you. Definitely check it out.

Looking for a mirror-acle? Then the second floor in the secret infinite buddah room is what you need. Some of the glass mirrors on the 3rd floor hide secret doors leading to upgrades, points and ladders to the next level.

It's design embedded with Thai traditional style temple with all gold ornamental.. it the place you should not miss when you travel to this area. The entrance a bit tricky but as long as you follow the road toward the very end of it. You will found the gold.. parking is right by with plenty of space. Including clean rest room.

This place is incredibly beautiful. But to enter, shoes must be removed. The floor from where you take off your shoes to the inside is scorching hot. If you're not wearing socks, your feet might burn.

Wow!!! What can I say? This place is absolutely stunning and I must say bye far this place is one of my favourite temple complexes that I've seen so far. So much detail everywhere you look. I was actually quite taken back when I walked in and I've still only seen half of it. Uthai Thani is another one of my favourite provinces. This is one place I will keep coming back to

Beautiful temple on large grounds so a nice calm place to walk around. The interior is really intricate and covered in gold. The whole city, Thailand's capital city from long ago, is a beautiful contrast to Bangkok.

Absolutely beautiful, nothing to add. When you enter the temple grounds, you will see the main building first and this (golden) building is not visible yet. You have to drive further, it's only 700-800 meters I guess and then you'll reach the golden castle. It does look pretty similar to Loha Prasat in Bangkok, but at the same time it's unique and had his own style

I loved the golden palace. It is incredibly intricate and amazing to see every wall covered in detail. It's not crowded at all. Actually was very empty.
