NIST International School

Have had my 3 kids at NIST since they were in Y1 and can say that it is a wonderful school where they have developed as responsible, caring and smart individuals! With many families coming from the UN and the school curriculum supporting the Sustainable Development Goals, it gives the school and its students a great sense of purpose. Also it has a lovely close knit and supportive community so parents can quickly adjust and make friends. I have no hesitation to recommend NIST to any family!

Our daughter has been going to NIST since 2020, and she has absolutely thrived there. The teachers are excellent, the community welcoming and inclusive, and the students supportive and engaged. The campus is in the heart of Bangkok but removed from the main drag of Sukhumvit, so the kids are able to safely and comfortably focus on their schoolwork and activities. There is a bit of construction going on at the moment, but that is temporary and when it’s done the campus will be significantly improved (moreover, in contrast to some other schools in Bangkok going through renovations, NIST has kept to their announced schedule). If you are looking for an IB school in Bangkok, NIST should be at the top of your list.

My brothers and I graduated from NIST and now my children are NIST students. I know and believe that they would receive NIST well-established academic excellence and experience cultural diversities. NIST will shape them to become global citizens with kind-hearts and responsible mindsets to the societies.

Since I’ve sold my business in Thailand, NIST is the reason why I stay in Bangkok with my kids. I am an academic and Ph.D. and appreciate the values and quality of education here. One of the top schools worldwide for me.

NIST is a fabulous school with a great and extremely diverse student body . Being a city centre school the campus is smaller but this makes the school special with a great community. School is very close to BTS/ MRT and the Klong Boat can also be used as an alternative mode of transportation. Our children started their school career in EY1 and Y1 and our eldest is now in her final year and we could not have picked a better school. The support during HS years is amazing and doors are always open for our the students. I feel like my children are truly very well supported and educated in a fantastic environment. There is a good parent community with many activities being offered and many options for parents to get involved. Overall NIST is a truly international school with a great vibe!

NIST is an excellent school that encourages and supports its students to grow and develop into amazing and excellent human beings. It is located at the end of Sukhumvit Soi 15, which anybody can access either by walking into Soi 15 and going straight all the way or taking the khlong boat and exiting off at Nanachat station which will take you into the end of Soi 15. NIST is also home to the Falcons sports team, which has found success in many sports competitions that they compete in, such as BMAC, consisting of many international schools in metropolitan Bangkok, and SEASAC, one of NIST’s biggest tournaments or competitions. SEASAC is an athletic conference in which teams of international schools from all over the Southeast Asian region compete in. NIST has luckily had the chance to host SEASAC multiple times in many different sports such as swimming and volleyball. The New International School of Thailand continues to support its students to become sustainable much-loved, accepted and accepting, and kind global citizens.

The best international school in Bangkok. Very strong academic curriculum, extremely tight community, wonderful teachers and staff, and great facilities. This is our second year here, and our kid happily goes to school every day.

Nist is a great school with very nice students.Nist also has very good education with lots of sports.The teachers are nice and teach the kids to be responsible and creative.Nist secruity guards are also nice.To add on nist also has 3 entrances.

Out of all the international schools my kids have gone to in the three countries we have lived in, NIST has been by far, their favorite. The quality of education, the facilities, the extracurriculars, and the community members (staff, teachers, parents and students) are the reasons why they will always love NIST.

Great school. Great community. Staffs are professionals and well-trained. My kids love Nist so much. Every day is so much fun for them.

As a parent of two children in the elementary school I strongly recommend NIST. It is very convenient with its central location, is values-led, has a great community and facilities.

Are you looking for a school with learn and fun?Then Nist International school will be just for you.My opinions are that the teachers
are very funny and great.And from Y3 they go to the cafeteria.The Nist system are divided into Early year,elementary,secondary.Sometimes the secondarys come to elementary to talk about what they do.My ratings are 5 out of 5.And I recommend your daughter and your son go to Nist.

I was enrolled at NIST from 2014-2018, 2020 and I am currently enrolled here again after moving a few times. All I can say is that it is the best school I’ve been to. Teachers and students are amazing, food is great and facilities are top notch. Cleanliness and maintenance is also very good, as the buildings are renovated every few years. NIST has always had a special place in my heart.

Nist is a great school overall. The food there is great and the teachers are very kind. I was at nist since 2016 and I am still at nist right now.

For the 8 years that I've been at NIST, it has brought nothing but positivity and pure happiness. Its incredible how open, friendly and caring everyone is to everyone. The teachers are extremely good at teaching and made every single lesson fun. Its so unfortunate that I had to leave at the end of year 8.

I applied for NIST a few months ago before 2018 ended, and to be completely honest, when I met some of the staff for the assessment/tour I already knew it was a great school. The positive energy that everyone gives off is a really comforting feeling, and I have no idea if I got in or not, regardless, NIST is an extremely welcoming and friendly place. Hoping for the best and a definite recommend !!

Lovely school and a college like experience for even the younger students. They can wander freely and safely - and enjoy social time in addition to a well structured and thought out curriculum. It is low stress and the students are thoughtful and well behaved. Their is a chef and nice variety of healthy food. Teachers are top notch. Old students mentor younger. I'm from NYC /USA so in my comparison to home, a very nice choice for an urban private school.

I've been to 7 schools and NIST was the best. I have no words for NIST; its community, diversity and environment; any word to appreciate it would fall short. I wish I could have graduated from NIST. I miss NIST so much and would love to find a way to contribute to my alma mater as an adult.

I'm a proud alumni of NIST International School, back when the school was actually called the "New International School of Thailand" (hence the abbreviation, "NIST".) I have a lot of fruitful memories of attending this school. I loved the fact it's situated in the heart of Bangkok in an area of a lot of Western influence. The quality of the teachers and the International Baccalaureate curriculum sets NIST apart from many other schools in Bangkok, and the region. I look forward to attending my graduating class' 10-year reunion this December!
