Banthongyord must be one of the best badminton training centres on the planet.
24 coaches (all very high level or ex pro players) for 18 courts, an army of sports scientists/physios awaiting courtside, state of the art gym, onsite accommodation. 1 month training fee $1200 per month includes shared accomo! If you want private available at $1000 per month. Canteen and social hub in the middle of school with fresh cooked local food cheap.
The training schedule has been described as ‘brutal’ this is true if you take on the available schedule so basically the sky is the limit for your goals. If your not fit before you arrive here you certainly will be when you leave!
Example daily schedule 7am to 9am physical training, 2pm to 5 pm technical and skills , 7pm to 9 pm technical and skills. 6 days a week. On top individual lessons as per your request.
Don’t be disappointed if you are put in the ‘intermediate section’ as I witnessed some of the young players there beating visiting professionals! Leave your ego at the door before coming here as you will be dumbfounded at the level from 5 years old up!!!!!!
Inspiring is the friendly faces of local students from 5 years to professional world champions training alongside you and other foreign, sometimes famous names visiting, the attitude is very friendly, like a family. A fantastic thing is Banthongyord.

It’s an amazing place to train for players of pretty much any level. Here r a few recommendations.
3 weeks cost 1100usd and anything in between 3 weeks and a month 1200usd. Go for a full month.
Private coaching is expensive, for me it was shocking 1250tbh/h, which is more expensive than pretty much anywhere, and the coaches make maximum 500/h. The more hours u buy, the price gets better, I only bought 2 so that’s why I guess.
U can’t choose which group to join so just be good enough to make it to the advanced group, as it is more money wise.
The shuttle lift costs 60usd, which is too much but it can make it more comfortable, still a taxi or grab is the cheaper option.
Food in the canteen costs about 40-60tbh and I needed 2 meals per meal so cost will build up quickly. Usually 400tbh per day so don’t be shocked. Water 15baht.
Taxi to city is 250tbh by taxi.
They never clean the toilet, so we just sprayed it with a hose, there is no key to ur room but it’s safe. They change sheets and sweep the floor.
Otherwise awesome trainings, coconuts during training, people will talk to u which is awesome. Sports scientists r super helpful and helped me even when I was injured. Convenience store is close, restaurants everywhere. I enjoyed my time here and would come back. I hope these tips help.

ประวัติที่นี้คือเป็นโรงเรียนแบดมินตันแห่งแรกในประเทศไทย เริ่มก่อตั้งเมื่อปี พ.ศ. 2534
โดยครอบครัวของ คุณกมลา ทองกร (อาปุก) ตั้งอยู่ที่ ถนนพุทธมณฑลสาย 3 เขตบางแค กรุงเทพมหานคร แต่เดิมเรียกว่า “ชมรมแบดมินตันบ้านทองหยอด” เป็นสถานที่ “เมย์” รัชนก อินนทนนท์(นักกีฬาทีมชาติไทย คว้าแชมป์โลกแบดมินตันอายุน้อยที่สุดด้วยวัย 18 ปี พ.ศ.2556) ฝึกมาตั้งแต่เด็กๆ จนปัจจุบันก่อนไปแข่งต่างประเทศก็ยังคงฝึกซ้อมอยู่ที่นี้ (หากเห็นว่ารีวิวนี้เป็นประโยชน์ ฝากกดไลค์ให้ด้วยครับ ขอบคุณครับ)
