It was wonderful to get to walk through the tremendous number of these amazing ruins, which cover many square miles, and imagine what this site must have looked like 700 years ago. If you look at the artist’s renderings of some of the temple structures you will begin to see how massive and widespread it all was.

This review is specifically for the larger of the two sections of this historic park. Ticket for one section is 100 thb, while a ticket for both sections is 150 thb. Entry for a car is an additional 50 thb. I would say that if your time is limited, you could give the smaller section to the southeast a pass. The temples there are very nice, but similar enough to what you will see in the larger section. I spent about 2.5 hours here and saw everything I wanted to see except for a few out of the way temples in the far west of the park, which were guarded by enough stray dogs to make me nervous about getting out of the car. Each temple has a signboard explaining the history, construction, and key features of that complex. The larger temples have one or more QR codes which link you to YouTube audio descriptions as well. Very helpful and very interesting. The entire park is located within a shaded forest, making it comfortable to visit even on a hot day. Overall this was an excellent experience, one I would recommend for anyone at least a little bit interested in the history of this time period. One improvement I would like to recommend to park administration: I wish there were bicycles for rent, rather than having to drive a car from temple to temple. The grounds are level and shady and ideally suited to bicycle traffic. Please consider adding this service. Final note - there are toilets throughout the park. They are clean and provide soap, but only squat toilets are available.

Nice quiet historical park similar to ruins in Sukhothai, Ayutthaya and Phitsanulok. There are 2 sides of the park with separate entry fees, i believe 100 baht and 50 baht. The side near the road is loud and ruins the serene feeling in my opinion.

It's worth a visit. Very spacious ancient site. Well preserved ruins of an age which is long gone, but definitely a World Heritage Site, which is worthy to keep in good conditions for the coming generations.

It's also visitable by car or motorbike. Locals use the route for the daily sports routine.

Support it by visiting.

A nice place a spend a day in KPP (as many people call this province of Thailand). I was there just for half a day and had a great time. The place is very well kept and has signs in English everywhere. I hope there would have been a bike rental around for one to rent a bike and ride one around, so you don’t have to walk around miles at a time!

This historical park is as large as the one in Sukhothai, but I saw very limited visitors. (during the morning hours of a weekday.) When you have a chance to drive up to Sukhothai from Bangkok, I recommend that you make one stop here for a short visit. They allow you to drive your car inside the park.

Very nice and peaceful. No crowds. We were lucky to see some different species of birds for the first time in this park.

Simply wonderful, and on a par with Sukhothai. The two sites in town are spread out, so you need a car or taxi to get round (I didn't notice any bikes for hire?). Highly recommended trip!

Peaceful, generally well kept park with a number of partially restored ruins. Not as spread out as Sukhothai. We hired a tour guide (in Thai) and electric car to take us around. The guide and driver were helpful and knowledgable. There are a lot of temple ruins, over 40 if I remember correctly, so if you want to see everything plan to spend a fair amount of time here. You can drive through the park or rent bikes. 30 Baht/hour/bike for "city bikes" . . . 50 for mountain bikes. We rented city bikes which were a bit beat up. The mountain bikes looked to be in better shape. The museum is small but informative and in good shape. Overall a good place to visit.

I truly love this place. Good energy. Everything is inside a forest, is cool and clean.
No dual price scamming like in Ayutthaya and sukhothai.
Best temple side in thailand in my opinion.
Plus is dog friendly.
Very beautiful

Nice tranquil (weekday) place to visit. Lots of trees means lots of shade. You need your car, motorcycle or bicycle to get around the grounds. Foreigners pay 100 Baht, Thais 20.

Amazing historical park. It's just beautiful and there is a complete lack of crowds. The scale of the place is very manageable. We visited as an alternative to Sukhothai and feel it was a good decision.

Very fasinating historical in this historical park. The park is an archeological site. It's a part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Historic Town of Sukhothai and Associated Historic Towns.

A very quite historical heritage park, just beatiful and a good reason for a stay over in Kampheang Peth, a untouristic authentic town.

My favorite ancient ruins in Thailand. With ruins sprawled out, you need a bike to explore them all. It's really fun to bike the paths there. Make sure you set aside a full day for this place.
