Wat​ Tham Khao​ Wong

This is a beautiful temple. Some of it is still under development but most of it is complete. It seems they have been adding to the sights for many years. We spent a couple of hours here enjoying the scenery and cool air in the caves and on the mountain. We made lots of pictures because it was so pretty and serene. We were visiting on a Friday morning. It was not crowded. The wood carvings and construction design is very impressive.

Came on weekend. Not too crowded. Beautiful temple built partially into the cave. Saw a path around the temple that leads you up. But not sure if it's leading to the cave.
Lots of vendors selling foods, fruits, drinks. Nice garden to relax.

This is a really beautiful place, and not the usual style of temple. You can enjoy walking around a lake and bridge with many photo opportunities. You can also go inside the temple. Highly recommend visiting.

The cave is quite far away from the temple itself I only walk half way day because it’s almost dark so i have no idea what it looks like hut the temple itself is very nice
Worth a visit

Wat Tham Khao Wong is approximately 32 kilometers from Ban Rai District. Locate in the midst of a magnificent valley, the temple pavilion is made of wood and is in traditional Thai style at the foot of the hill, surrounded by natural beauty from the decoration including a wooden bridge across the pond standing in the middle of the bridge.

This is a nice place. Do not forget to look around the whole area. There is plenty to see. There is a staircase on the left side of the temple right next to the building. It continues up along the mountain. A fantastic little trip really worth seeing.
