Its a place you bring guests/family and friends over to experience the real taste of Thai food done well.

Every dish tastes delicious, just like homemade food.

A must-try is the crab dishes; they're really good and the portions are large. Definitely a worth to return restaurant.

Everything in the pictures looks good and tastes great when ordered. Don't forget to order dessert; it's delicious too. All my foreign friends love it.

The culinary journey commenced with appetizers that set the tone for the entire meal. The mushrooms and chicken wings were a perfect prelude, boasting a harmonious blend of textures and flavors. The mushrooms provided a earthy richness, while the chicken wings were impeccably crispy on the outside and succulent on the inside.

For the main course, the Red Crab Curry took center stage and stole our hearts. The robust and aromatic curry was a celebration of spice and seafood, with the red crab adding a sweet and briny dimension to every mouthful. The portions were generous, ensuring that every diner left fully satisfied.

Everything was perfect. Every dish was incredible, the menu is extensive, the service impeccable, the drinks and cocktails superb and the restaurant atmosphere from dining room to kitchen to bar to facilities excellent with wonderful background jazz and blues music. Attention to detail has worked out on every level. Lunch was so good on Saturday, we went back again on Monday. Consistently amazing!

Been here a couple of times — they have brought out the best of traditional and modern Thai dishes. Everything we ordered was delicious. The taste is very friendly for all nationalities and backgrounds (i.e. not too spicy, not too sour/sweet). The MVP would be หมูสับปลาเค็ม. Service from staff was also excellent during both visits. Recommend to make a reservation 1 week in advance. Parking is valet only.

Checked out Sri Trat Restaurant and Bar on a friend's recommendation and ended up loving it so much I went back the next day! It's this cool spot with dishes from Eastern Thailand, which apparently even locals from Bangkok might find novel.

First visit was light - just had a cocktail, some fried chicken, and a Thai salad. Heads up, the salad was super spicy, a bit too much for me. The fried chicken, though, was spot on. The next day, my Thai friend took the lead on ordering, and we went for the deep-fried boneless silage fish, chicken soup, and some cabbage with fish sauce. The silage fish was a standout, especially with the crispy fried garlic on top. Loved the chicken soup too, with all the herbs being edible and adding to the flavor.

The place itself has a really chill vibe, perfect for unwinding. The staff were all super nice and professional, making both visits really enjoyable. Definitely a spot to check out if you're in the area and looking for something a bit different.

This is the 3rd time I have visited this restaurant on my visits to Bangkok.
The first time when I tried to book, it was full.
Having learnt that lesson, I have booked well in advance about 3weeks early.
This restaurant is always busy.
The food is very reasonably priced.
The taste is very good.
The dessert menu is my only complain.
Every item there contains coconut milk.
There’s a couple that do not but it really does not sound appealing.
The food menu is very extensive.
The customer service is really good.
We ordered the crab fried rice, green curry chicken, soft shell crab with garlic, crab coconut dip with veg ( apparently, this is the dish that won them the Michelin star) I’ve been told by the staff.
The bill for 4 came to B2770 which I find totally reasonable.
We only had water with our meal and 1 dessert.
We were stuffed and could not stomach another heavy coconut based dessert.

If you do drink, my thoughts would be approx another 320-380 baht per alcohol beverage.

A waitress name “Koi’ remembered us from our Nov 2023 visit.
That’s incredible considering the amount of diners every day.
We have a very experience and delicious food.
If you are a visitor to Bangkok and you want to dine at the restaurant, my suggestion is book in advance.
They never seem to answer their Instagram message.
If you have a few days, I suggest you book the moment you arrive into Bangkok and hopefully they can squeeze you in.

My first time trying out the very floral and sweet-leaning cuisine of Trat region and it did not disappoint! Do not come here if you are a picky eater or completely intolerant to spicyness, since the best dishes are inherently spicy. I recommend getting the dessert platter so you can have a sample of each of the sweet treats on offer. Loved the contemporary atmosphere and attentive service. Reserving a table in advance is a must - it's a very trendy spot and it's very unlikely you will just get a walk-in table.

Great atmosphere for family and friends dining. There’s bar here serving with cocktail and both Thai and international liquor. Thai Eastern food here is served with 5-star restaurant manner that you can expect from 5-star hotel. Taste is great and service is superb. Recommended for non-Thai ppl too. There are many dishes that ain’t too spicy.

Exceptional rustic eastern style Thai food! This has become a must go restaurant every time I am in Bangkok. Best to come with at least one additional person and have multiple things.

Sri Trat is a Michelin bib gourmand restaurant located in Sukhumvit. Reservations are highly recommended - plan your transport early, traffic can be really bad in this area.

Ordered soft shell crab noodles (must-order), minced pork and king mackerel fried patties (super spicy!), aromatic clear chicken soup (sour and spicy!), and deep fried fish cakes (this one was the highlight). The food came out really quickly - about 5 to 10 minutes after we ordered. Spent about 1 hr at the restaurant.

For dessert, I went with the coconut sago and mango sticky rice. Coconut sago was a bit too sweet for me but the coconut flesh was good - I couldn’t finish it. Many foreigners frequent this restaurant and the decor is traditional and old-school with portraits lining the walls.

The experience at Sri Trat was truly a culinary symphony. Each dish was just amazing, and no dish was out of harmony. You truly have to taste them yourself. My most favorite is the deep fried boneless sillago fish with garlic and turmeric. All their desserts that we ordered were beautifully done.

Because they are Eastern Thai cuisine, if you are looking for strong flavor such as Southern or Northeastern Thai, you might not find the flavor intense enough.

The service was good. The service team tried their best to cater to our needs even though the restaurant was bustling.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was modern Thai that has its elegance but not pretentious. The parking requires valet service.

The only comment is that there are only 3 restrooms. When the restaurant is busy, the line can take some time.

This is our third visit. Our previous visits was a bit disappointing and I thought I would not go again. We have a visiting friends and wanted to explore other Thai cuisine and Sri Trang was just across the street.

I didn’t pay much attention and simply ask the waitress to recommend us all the dishes. To my surprise, all was excellent.

The grilled pork neck was perfectly cooked. All pieces was tender, juicy and just right amount of seasoning. Chicken durian massaman was very good. It’s a sweet type of curry as some may expect it to be spicy. My favorite was the grass noodle shrimp paste and grilled squid. The cooking on the squid was simply perfect! Just the right amount of shrimp paste as not to offend novice diners.

The staffs were very friendly and served free flow of rice. Overall we were very happy and would not hesitate to go back again.

A hidden gem im the Sukhumvit area this is certainly one of the best thai restos in the area. Great service, food and hip atmosphere with great whiskey bar. Every dish was a hit. Highly reccomended.

I tried the massaman and had a few cocktails here.

The massaman was good, it had chicken thigh and young durian. The cooked durian had a texture and taste similar to potato.

I had 2 cocktails too, matoom sour and kham khong (kind of a Thai old fashioned).

For everything it was ~1100THB inc. tax etc.

If you want to come here it’s best to make a booking.

Food was really good, service was fantastic too. Love the ambience of the restaurant as well. Every dish we had had it’s unique flavours can’t quite pin point which is my favourite. But the jelly dessert is worth a mention - yums!

An elegant bar and eatery featuring an abundant selection of Eastern Thai dishes, mainly originating from the Trat area. The staff offers exceptionally warm and welcoming service. Even though I am well-acquainted with Thai cuisine, the innovative flavors and freshness of each dish took me by surprise. This establishment comes highly recommended—just make sure to secure a reservation in advance if you're planning to dine in the evening.

Crab anything is super good here! Didn't take all the food because busy devouring. From atmosphere to service to food, everything was on point. Becareful tho, there's some dishes that really packs a punch! Fried seabass, barracuda salad is a most too! Come in big groups to order all their food :)

Sri Trat Restaurant & Bar, Bangkok: Behold, the best tamarind sweet chilli fried seabass we have ever sunk our grateful teeth into. We have been on a fried fish trail in Hua Hin, BKK and Khao Yai. Tonight is our last night in BKK, and it ends on a high culinary note. This was a last minute decision to dine here and boy aren’t we spot on and lucky we snagged seats in the ever-popular Sri Trat. Must orders include the soft shell crab pad thai. It’s the pad thai that screams delish and the soft shell crab was lacking in tastes. Curried fishcake reach a different height here - it’s truly flavourful and spicy. The star of the show was the sweet chilli sea bass - the base of brown sugar was so magical, we drank up the sauce then teared up as it was super spicy. This was a grand Thai meal, well deserving of its Bib Gourmand awards. #eatstylishtravelstylish

Best food that I have tasted in a very long time. Well-balanced and flavorful. Phenomenal service, pleasant staff. Everything was perfect. Thank you very much😊👌❤
