Wat Lat Phrao

Wat Lat Phrao is one of my favorite temples. I love all the Buddha's, especially the three out front. My wife and I often visit as it is our local temple.

First time I attended festivities at a Buddhist temple and really liked it. I am not a practicing Buddhist myself even though I try to live my life to some of the same principles but one does not need to be of the same religion to have mutual respect for the other person 🙏

There is ample parking but kind and helpful staff to assist. The complex mostly serves the local community so not many visitors other than Thai people going about their usual.

During the festivities there was also a market with a large choice of food to pick from. Will revisit during daytime some day as it is a beautiful complex.

Beautiful temple. Not ancient but particular. It's a free temple built for the locals and is just stunning. The main temple was filled with Buddha statues. When at Wat Lat Phrao, make sure you go upstairs into the Buddha Hall. It’s easy to miss. Look for the tall Buddha’s and got up the stairs behind them.

Beautiful temple have all monks from Thailand nice view and many places for relaxing. But this period I visit was little dirty inside 🙏🏻

This temple is so beautiful!

So glad I went here! There was a kind and friendly local dude who was really welcoming me and showed me how to run the gold leaf onto the statue and it was just a beautiful calming yet awe inspiring place! People use it commonly for funerals to pay respects to those who've died. The sound of bells on the gentle breeze fills this beautiful temple and filled my heart with calm and joy.

Birth-being old-sickness-death are normal for life. Pls, learn to be ready in last monent of life

Entry fee of 100 Thai bhat is charged from maingate. Quite expensive. But If you are someone who wants to experience socio cultural history of Thailand, this is the place for you.

For the 100thb entry fee they offer a water bottle complimentary

Good surprise. I was walking around the small soi nearby the river and found this temple. A lot of different Buddha statues inside. People there are so friendly and likes to talk to you about this temple. A must do.

Superb Thai temple well worth visiting, visit the second and third floors for awesome deities and find many delicious foods nearby. The temple grounds include a very scenic canalside with a sala for you to sit and soak up the amazing views of ancient and modern Bangkok juxtaposed behind this mindblowingly beautiful temple a natural oasis in the city with the sweet songs of birds singing.

Very surprised by how huge this temple is. We attended a funeral here and although a sad day, the temple was beautiful.

Very nice! But somehow find it difficult to communicate with the people, especially to have some food!
