Hatyai Fourface Buddha

Heads up if you self-drive there. Google will bring you to a closed road like it happened to us. You are better off to select first Hatyai Municipal Park first. Then from the park, search for 4 face Buddha. This way the map will bring you via the park way which is the only open way right now. Not too bad a place. The magic is in the entire vicinity. There are a few POIs near by and all you need to do is just follow the road down the mountain. Below are some photos of the vicinity

Took me around 30minutes to reach Hat Yai Brahma Shrine ท้าวมหาพรหม หาดใหญ่ from the lake (Hatyai Park entrance 1) by foot when I follow the road signs.
The temple worships mainly the four face Buddha and there are many elephants statues all around. You can light the crackers for good fortune and today someone engaged some dancers to perform for the Buddha. There is also a giant Erawan elephant statue.
From the top you can see the mosque and even the sea on a clear day.
The temple is connected to the Cable Car Station and there is a toilet there. Cable car station looks more and more depressed.

Four face Buddha is a popular temple in Hat Yai. Many locals and foreigners come here to pray.

They also have dance praying 🙏 for the four face Buddha. You can buy firecracker here or buy from town to put.

Driving up can be difficult as it is a single lane. Please drive safely. Toilet is at the cable car building.

This temple is located on a hill. Have a great view overlooking the nearby town. You got to buy 100baht stuff to pray the 3 face elephant. You got to buy a prayer package which contains a bottle of oil, joss sticks & garland. Also you need to buy red fire cracker to buy for good luck. You may receive few lucky from the fire cracker box for you to try the luck.

One of my "must visit" place when I visit hatyai... it's cooling at it's situated at one of the peak above hatyai municipal city park... came here for prayers where you can here dancers (like Bangkok) to give prayers to Four Faces Buddha... you can also buy firecracker, they'll be someone to help you light them

Visited this wonderful four face Buddha with some friends, weather was perfect and not hot at all, we bought some offerings on the way , including fire crackers
You can see there are many elephants offering people donated
We also went to see the Guang Yin statue and from see you can see almost whole of Hat Yai,

Hat Yai Fourface Buddha is definitely on the must do list for Hat Yai. It has alot to offer in terms of history and culture. It is located on the mountain top of the Hat Yai Municipal Park and overlooks the city at various view points. As a photographer i certainly enjoyed my walk around here and would recommend it to anyone visiting Hat Yai

A great place to visit and worship when in Hadyai. This is a place where several tourists come and visit to worship and pray. You can start of with the big buddha located on the hill overlooking the beautiful sights and scenery of Hadyai. After than you can make your way up to the cable cars to the top of another hill. Where you can pray and worship whilst being surrounded by amazing views. There's only 2 cable cars available. You can also drive up the hill if you don't wish to take the cable car up.

So beautiful place and a great place to pray to lord brahma. May all be free from suffering and happy sadhu sadhu sadhu

(Got helped from the lady at standing Buddha sent us up to the hill with motorbike due to the cablecar under maintenance for 1 month)
(We felt Phra Phrom has been testing us, from raining to cablecar broken to slipper broken to walking under rain, our persistent to meet Phra Phrom didn’t stop us and HE sent helped for us too)

High up the mountain, took a tuk tuk and needs to be a slow and safe drive.
I liked this temple and with great view.

Great place and popular for loyal worshippers both locally and overseas to pay homage and to offer prayers for your wishes. There's also the majestic 3 headed Elephant for some amazing shots too. Definitely crowded during peak tourist season in full swing post pandemic. Awesome.

Beautiful temple with stunning panaroramic views of the southern Thai coastline.

Visiting a temple is always an uplifting experience.

Beautiful temple, the vibe is on a different level. For tourists, recommended to take negotiate drivers to bring to the guan yin and Buddha temple down too.

Recommend to come in the morning. No much people during that time.
