Awesome architecture and the sleeping Buddha is huge! Saw some Singaporean donors and it reminded me of home. So based on this, I would say the religious importance of this place is enormous to south east Asia! Do visit 👍

One of the reclining buddha in Hat Yai. I visited the location where there were no tourists beside me and a few people who’s doing prayers. It was my first time to see a huge reclining Buddha, which Thailand is known for.

I spend a few minutes in this area, it’s just for me to appreciate the structure and also to give respect to the people making prayers.

Pretty. The Google map brought to the wrong way. The entrance to this Wat seems to be the entrance of a school. Interesting.

We were fortunate to be blessed by bhante when we went there yesterday.
To complete your good deeds, you can do charity by giving bhante needs such as robe, medicines, meals before 12.00 PM

This is a super large reclining Buddha image. It is a very beautiful temple surrounded by beautiful grounds ample parking and the school.

This temple is very close to town and it’s only a five minute drive and it is worth making an effort to visit.

It's the most famous temple in Hatyai. Sleeping Buddha on the left. We were called to be blessed by a monk. Then, we gave him a offering in cash in red packet. The monk drawn some lucky spell on my wallet and phone case 😊.

Don't miss out the rainbow stairs on the right (at the river bank). The devotees will release live fish there.

This temple is a short car ride away from town. The surrounding is very peaceful and quiet. It a place for photo opportunity. The main attraction of Wat Hat Yai Nai will definitely be the 35m long reclining Buddha.

given an avid lover for historical architecture and places of interests as i am, i would say this is a must visit no matter how tight your schedule is. Magnificent temples surrounding you and also, be awed by The Reclining Buddha's grandeur. even felt a sense of calmness when i got close to the Buddha himself.

Nice small temple, worth visiting once. The structure is unique and the temple itslelf is on a circular base that holds the steel structure.

Inside the structure is very cool and provides a shadey area during hot and humid days
