I liked it here, it's a 40 min ferry ride from Pattaya pier. You can get off at two different stops, so check where it goes. I got off at the nearest stop, walked to the beach from there and took the ferry back from the beach which is the second spot. Water is warm, lots of different restaurants and a small supermarket. You can rent bikes to get around the island as well.

We had lots of fun there. It is just 40 min away from Pattaya beach. You can go for lots of activities there like jet ski, banana boat. For snorkelling they will take you to some different island. Overall a very good experience.

Very clean beach and water. The ferry to reach the beach is quite nice as well, although one can also take a speed boat if one does not like the leisurely ride. The ferry only costs 30 baht each way. If purchased from Pattaya, speed boats are 150 baht each way. The price increases if not purchased in Pattaya.

Several nice restaurants are along the beach. It IS crowded, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. I will definitely return.

Crystal clear water with many water sport activities🏖🏊‍♀🏄‍♂🚣‍♀🪂🤿. Surprised! Convenience store(7-Eleven) and Cafe Amazon also on the island. Possible one day trip to this beautiful island(2.5 hrs ride from Bangkok + 35 min. ferry). Catch the ferry from south Pattaya at Bali Hai Pier, only 30 baht/person.

Koh Larn, located near Pattaya, is known for its picturesque beaches and clear waters. Visitors often praise its vibrant coral reefs, making it a popular spot for snorkeling and diving. However, some mention that certain beaches can get crowded, especially during peak tourist seasons. Overall, it's appreciated for its natural beauty, water activities, and accessibility from Pattaya. Keep in mind that individual experiences may vary.

My favorite place to take a temporary break. It is a beautiful sea and not far from Bangkok. Koh Larn has beautiful sea water, a good atmosphere, food and convenience stores are all available here. You should try the squid fishing trip and the fresh tasting is really awesome. I will go back soon.

Koh Lan really surprised me, it's a 40min Ferry from Pattaya that only costs 30 baht. Some beautiful spots. Of course it's rammed with tourists, but with a little bit of effort you can find a quiet spot to relax, or enjoy the many water sports activities. Upto you 😁

As most of our time was spent on the vast multitude of adventures available here - parasailing, under sea walk, jet ski, etc, we couldn’t explore much of this beautiful island.
The activities here are available at the most economical pricing as compared to other places in Thailand.
Word of caution - they say that photographs taken by them will be made available to us free of cost, but only the soft copies of under sea walk will be provided free. Every other photograph taken is chargeable and they don’t give soft copies of those additional photographs.
The island itself is mesmerising with clear, blue waters and white sand beach.
We made beautiful memories with our loved ones.

If you are going to Thailand and especially Pattaya and not going to Koh Larn, then definitely you are missing something. This beautiful island is only 8-10 km from the main Pattaya beach and takes only 30 mins to reach by speed boat. The green blue water of this island surrounded by the green hills is enough to explain its beauty.

This small island is a 45 minute ferry ride away from the crowds of Pattaya. It can be explored in a day itself and is known for its white sand beaches, coral reefs and clean waters. There are several restaurants and resorts on the island to cater to the tourists.

The ferry from Pattaya is there hourly and costs 30 THB. If you are short on time, there are speedboats that will take you to the island and around it for around 2500 THB. Alternatively, you could take the ferry and then take a tuktuk on the island for about 1200 THB. The tuktuks take you to all the beaches and viewpoints on the island and can be covered fairly quickly.

For those traveling by car, there is parking at the Bali Hai pier (from where you catch the ferry) costing 30 THB per hour but make sure to get there as early as possible.

A beautiful beach near Pattaya, way more clean water on the beach compared to Pattaya and many water activities , it's easy to go there by a speed boat in 15 minutes.

The beaches of Koh Larn near Pattaya offer a captivating tropical escape that's just a short boat ride away. During my recent visit, I had the pleasure of exploring two of its renowned beaches: Ta Yai and Tawen.

Ta Yai beach, with its pristine shoreline and crystal-clear waters, was a picturesque haven. The powdery white sand beckoned visitors to relax and unwind, while the gentle waves invited swimmers to take a refreshing dip. The beach's serene atmosphere was a soothing contrast to the bustling energy of Pattaya. One could easily spend hours basking in the sun, mesmerized by the panoramic ocean views.

Tawen beach, on the other hand, had a livelier vibe. It was the perfect spot for adventure enthusiasts, offering a range of water sports like snorkeling, jet skiing, and parasailing. The vibrant beachside vendors added to the lively ambiance, serving up delicious local delicacies and refreshing beverages. Exploring the vibrant underwater world through snorkeling was a highlight, as I encountered colorful corals and an array of marine life.

Both beaches had their unique charm, catering to different preferences. While Ta Yai provided a tranquil escape for those seeking relaxation and solitude, Tawen offered an exciting playground for thrill-seekers and those looking for an active beach experience.

The boat ride between the beaches and Pattaya was seamless, allowing for easy access to these hidden gems. The only drawback was the occasional influx of tourists, which could make the beaches a bit crowded during peak times. However, the breathtaking scenery and activities available more than made up for this minor inconvenience.

In conclusion, my visit to Ta Yai and Tawen beaches on Koh Larn was an unforgettable experience. The combination of natural beauty, water sports, and local culture made for a well-rounded beach getaway. Whether you're in search of tranquility or adventure, the beaches of Koh Larn have something to offer every type of traveler.

The Island Ko LAN a.k.a ‘Coral Island’ is easily one of the best beaches in the Gulf of Thailand and it’s proximity to Bangkok makes it for a perfect weekend getaway!

Take a ferry or speedboat from the ferry pier near walking street and as soon as you land you are greeted by locals with rent a scooter shacks - which is the ideal way to explore the island!

Don’t forget water sport activities! Have fun!

Beautiful island, peaceful
Clean beaches with crystal clear blue water.
Must visit.
Ferry charges only 30 Bhat one way
Speed boat tickets start from 200 bhat onwards.
Early morning visiting will be great as sun is very hot at afternoon.
At the island , better to take a bike on rent to explore better, it will cost you from 200 to 300 bhat irrespective of no. of person.
Need to negotiate on rent, as the vendors ask more.
There is a choice to stay at island also if one likes

Beautiful island that is 45 Minutes from Pattaya. It's only 30b by ferry. It's a great cheap day out. With stunning beaches and a nice clean clear sea to swim in. I would definitely recommend going when you're in Pattaya. We spent around 4 hours swimming and relaxing before heading back.

Beautiful and relaxing Island.
Very near to Pattaya city. Take a ferry to reach here it just costs 30bhats, Very convenient.
You can rent a two wheeler for 200-300bhat. So that you can roam around the entire island in half day.
Very less food options for vegetarians so plan it accordingly. However there is a 7/11 shop.
