Monta restaurant

Excellent family run restaurant. The Egg salad was different, but in a good way. The squid was fresh and cooked well. Fresh coconut for 30 baht is the cheapest I've had for a very long time. Left full and very happy.

If you're looking for an affordable Thai seafood menu for lunch or dinner, you come to the right place! The taste is good with incredibly cheap price. Only 2 minutes walk from the beach. The staffs (aunties) are friendly too.

A hidden gem of local made-to-order restaurant. Price is incredible cheap. Imagine a dish of rice with fried shrimp & basil at the price of THB 40! I never found such dish anywhere lower than THB 60. But don't worry, they're not compromise on quality, quantity and - of course - taste so good.

very cosy place...run entirely by family...excellent Thai authentic food....very reasonably priced. Don't miss it. Limited seating so don't be disappointed if they politely tell you it might take sometime to get back to you.

Very very good taste

Consistently good food at a good price. Portions are lunch size. If you are a person who thinks it's okay to puff away while others eat stay the fork away.
BTW. I see that 2 people gave Monta Seafood a one star rating. If you look at their other reviews they seem to have a connection with another restaurant in Cha am which they give 5 stars. This particular restaurant has caused 2 people I know food poisoning from old chicken. One of these two people was very ill for more than a week. It is a very unclassy move to lower the rating of a restaurant you have probably not been to so you can prop up your own or a friends.
