Madong Bar and Restaurant

This place is a gem in On Nut. They serve really interesting and delicious asian fusion food. The quailty was great, good service, nice decor and the prices are super affordable. They also have a great cocktail menu. Upscale dining without the high end prices. Loved it!

Make sure you don’t eat anything for lunch if your arriving for dinner, OMFB ohhh my fat belly 😋🤕 so good, please don’t miss this Mexican restaurant on your trip too Thailand.

My favorite place, Tacos & Salsa from Sukhumvit Soi 18, is now located here at Madong. Same great food, but sure do want a real - delicious Margarita instead of a lime juice. In time we will be back for the real thing!

Hidden gem in OnNut. It's really worth the try. Food, cocktails and vibe are excellent. Last week they had a really cool "Thai-Tapas and Cocktails" with a bakeoff and masterchef of spain - Facebook event. Will definitely come again soon!

Madong is a hidden gem of a place where you can dine in and have some drinks. It's not pricey but cozy. It's a must try that's why we keep on coming back.

Another hidden gem for Mexican food in Onnut neighborhood, 2 mins walk from Big C Onnut. Casual vibe, compact space but still good for groups. Food is flavorful, and cocktails are amazing. In general, Bloody mary is not a typical cocktail for Thai, my favorite though. I’ve been tried it if any restaurant, and bar serve. I would say this is the best the bloody mary i ever had in Thailand, they call Bloody Maria though. It is rich and tasty. Margarita is also good too. You should try!
Unfortunately, we did not make it to desserts because we are stuffed. Service is good. No parking lot is provided. We will revisit this restaurant for sure!

The food was delicious and interesting, the prices were good, but everything was fried and very oily!

We had the mushrooms and garlic, and pickle poppers as appetizers. They were very good and perfectly crispy, but the poppers had too much breading and was too oily

For main course, we had the “love in a pot” and curry quesadillas. The love in a pot was very tender and filling. The curry quesadillas were also good, but again, too oily. I was surprised to see that they were deep fried. The curry had the perfect amount of spice and creaminess

We had the Bloody Mary and pineapple margarita drink. Both were delicious, not too sweet, and quite strong! They were very generous

All in all, good atmosphere, delicious food, good prices- they just need less fried and oily choices

Interesting Asian tapas mixing Thai, Japanese and Chinese flavors at a reasonable price point, with a variety of house made pickles. Their dishes tend towards savory which balance the too-sweet cocktails and Asian style pickles, but if you're not a fan of sugar then stick to the main plates and beer and enjoy the flavors.

Good restaurant, the food is soooo delicious and tasty. Highly recommended!
