Wat Putthawat (Puttha Phu Sing)

20 years ago only the white Buddha occupied the hill top view. Now there is a bus service, wishing well, floating flower, gongs, balancing pennies, and a waterfall. Will come back in 10 years I hope to see government improvements

It's great to go in the morning, a pretty easy stairway to walk up. Saw that they do have a narrow road coming up the bacunk side of the hill. Many cargros and motorcycles were parked. A great 360 view, the grounds are well maintained. Little food and drinks along with souvenirs.

Very nice. There are good services for cars to take on the top of the hill.

Seconmd time I have been here, but this time we decided to be brave and walk the steps up, for eternal glory and all that. 654 steps. Not easy for an oldie like me (53). Several stops for a sit down on the way up. Great temple inside, like so many it has that air about it, calming, tranquil and very spiritual.

A clean white buddha with a little bling bling and also around him absolutely clean and not too much gold things.
The buddha is a 20-25 metres tall and in a circle around him protected by white dragons.

Great views car park and coffee shop and small gift shop sun hats etc.big buddha at the top and a foot print ..long stairs to climb or drive to top and walk down

Beautiful and good scenery temple and monastery at the top of the hill. Good place to quiet down and meditate. Small coffee shop with snacks located next to parking place. I recommend not to use road when pouring rain. For people who like to exercise, long stairs can provide excellent daily jog. :D Recommend!

The place itself is well looked after... marvelous views of Lam Pao dam and surrounding areas...this Wat is known for a place to make merit...there are small shops and a cafe...take plenty of 20 Baht notes to pay for flowers etc..the road to the Wat is very steep and there is a shuttle bus to take you up form the car park at the bottom

MANY steps to the top, 654!!
But there IS a back drive to the top so you can take your car or motorcycle if you're not up to the climb. Great view from the top.

Climb the stairs and you will have good luck, clarity and you will achieve. The head monk speaks English.

Very nice temple located on a mountaintop with a stunning view of the rice fields around.
I would recommend to be there at sunrise or sunset.
