Extremely friendly and amazingly beautiful. I wandered in here during a layover and was mesmerized that I'd never seen it before. The inhabitants encouraged photos further exploration of the temple and grounds.

Surprising location of the temple in within the crowded urban area... Walkable distance from DMK airport... (u just need to cross the road)... Peaceful area.. And architecture is also exceptional... Not much crowded... Having access to parking area as well.. U can get inside for free(budhist temples in thailand usually demands an entrnce fee).. I hav spent about 30 mts there...monks are frndly and ready to talk with you...some facilities there to sit and relax outside the temple as well... Best place to relax if u reach DMK airport early for departure... Becuase this place is better than the waiting area of the so called international airport

Beautiful temple near don mueng airport, but i dont think this temple have an access for public

It is a surprising place that one has at least one hour to enjoy the visit of this beautiful Buddhist Temple unexpectedly just opposite to the Bangkok DMK Airport when one has a transit time of about 3 hours or more for the connecting flight.
The temple has beautiful images of some animals, dragons, angels, mini Ponds with Lily flowers!
Great attraction for one who do not want to idle the connecting time.
There are cheaper & delicious option of roadside Restaurants at moderate prices compared to the premium prices within the stalls of airport.

Wat Donmueang is still so beautiful, even through with limited land space available. This make facility expansion likely impossible.
