Mekong Pizza

Excellent thin crust pizza joint in Chiang Mai! Our local guide brought us to this restaurant on our last night in the city. The members of our party were all pleased with their pizza choices and raved about the taste 😋. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is very casual and laid back with old school R&B and Soul music 🎶 blasting in the background.

I never expected to find such excellent pizza in such a small town. The pizza was tasty. The crust is excellent and cooked to perfection. I came back the next day to try another pizza. I also never expected to find chorizo as a topping…I highly recommend it.

A GEM of a find here, people. Sao, the owner, and her staff have this little oasis here in Sop Ruak. Best pizza pies for miles/kilometers with a really pleasant vibe, American rock playing in the background with a ping pong table no less. And, much to my surprise they even have a gluten-free crust. (Try the spinach and chicken pizza with goat cheese. Onolicious as we say in Hawaii.)

Unbelievable that we found this amazing restaurant in Golden triangle. Super tender ribeye steak, amazing pizza with huge size and the prices were so good.
Must try when you visit around.

The place is small but homey. If you like thin pizza, this place is the right one to go. Probably the best pizza place in the area.

One can find excellent pizza in most unlikely places.
Crust was crispy thin.
Ordered their "Happy Mekong" large pizza for 339, which is good price for quality ingredients.
Pasta was also perfect. Al dente, not greasy and generous amount of bacon.

Definitely the BEST pizza in town. My group had two pizza’s, 2 salads, 3 big beers, a soda and the BEST chocolate chip cookie and it just over 1000THB for four adults! Can’t find this quality for this price anywhere else.

Looking for something different than Thai food this night, walking the streets of the Golden Triangle on the Thai side of the Mekong River and found Mekong Pizza.
Great variety of pizza toppings and sizes. We were hungry and got the large one for each of us. Yum, Yum.
The ladies that served us were great, place packed out for dining in. Wish they delivered to Australia..

Great little restaurant near the Golden Triangle Park. Super friendly owner and staff. Nice terrace to sit outside (at the road but ok nice to watch daily life). Salad, pizza and fries all was freshly made and delicious. Good selection for vegetarians 🥗 🌱 Highly recommended 👍🏻❤🙏🏻😍🇹🇭

The reviews for this restaurant meant it came out top of the list in Pizza establishments around here. Thought I'd visit (as I am touring the area!). I was NOT disappointed and then some. I had the Pepperoni Pizza and Spaghetti Bolognese. The Spag Bol was authentic and just right for me. Probably the best I have had in Thailand. The pizza deserved the hype it has had. They had a large version but I didn't want to be greedy LOL. A great experience and with 2 soft drinks it came in under 400 Baht.

This place checks every box, with good local company as a bonus. Amazing Chicago/ NY bar style, crispy thin pizza, all 3 beer laos available. Love the pork bolognese and garlic bread. Service is some of the best I've had with well timed check ins to make sure all is well. Owner is heartfelt and kind to her customers and employees.

Entrees like steak, salmon, available as well. Good music, travel photos on the wall are worth a gander, place is spotless, could go on; as the Buddha said, go see (and taste) for yourself 🙏🏼 enjoy!!

PS Also, fresh baked choco chip cookies help you get your endorphin fix after visiting the Opium museum.

I was really surprised to find such a good pizza in the middle of nowhere. It's authentic Italian with a thin crust and better quality than in some places in Italy.

Best pizza in Thailand (and we are eating it right now). Thin crust, well cooked and very good toppings!

Excellent pizza and friendly service. They even loaned us a bottle of bug spray when they noticed me getting bitten ( they find me everywhere). The co-owner even chatted with us at the end of the meal and was very pleasant company :)

Great service and we enjoyed our dinner very much. Ordered quattro formaggio and godfather pizza, delish! Highly recommend if you feel like having non local cuisines

Came here with my wife, two neices and nephew. These are the best pizzas I have ever had in Asia. This is the only place where the pizzas have been made with authentic ingredients. These pizzas are the equal of a very good pizza in a western country. Beautiful thin bases made on the premises and cooked to absolute perfection, with the the very edges of the base only just starting to blacken slightly. Perfection!! Good skills. And, surprisingly, the prices are really very reasonable. The owner is also friendly and we had a good chat about pizzas. Just writing this review makes me want to return.

Stopped in for lunch while waiting for others to do a visa run into Laos. Delicious pizza, great thin crust. Had the “Kepox” pizza with salami, black olives, and fresh tomatoes. Ice cold beer. Absolutely worth the visit and I would happily recommend to others. About a 5 minute walk from the border crossing.

Drive 5 more minutes!!! Wow!
