Nirvana Beach Resort, Koh Lanta

Such an amazing place and stunning scenery. I like to see the sun down here very much. The staff is kind and friendly, the room is clean and comfortable, I would recommend this place for sure!!

My stay here was excellent. It was the start of off-season, but the weather was still great.

The service was excellent, the staff were responsive and our room was quite nice. I found the bed incredibly comfortable.

The sunset views from the jacuzzi was a highlight of my trip to Koh Lanta.

I would recommend anyone to book this hotel.

LOVED our stay at nirvana beach resort! My partner and I stayed in the suite with its one private swimming pool, which was amazing and extremely romantic. Not many people were at the resort when we went in late march, so it felt like we had the whole resort to ourselves with plenty of silence other than the chirping birds and crashing waves. We stayed in room 501, and we highly recommend. I didn't realize that our hotel rented mopeds so I rented from a place closer to the pier. When calling for a taxi to leave, the owner instead dropped off my partner at the pier while I dropped off the moped and walked to the pier. As the owner was driving back from the pier, she spotted me on the side of the road and told me to hop in. She brought be exactly where I needed to go and when I tried to pay her, she refused. This just speaks to the amazing service and care that nirvana beach resort staff shares. Could not be happier with our stay. Very Lgbtq+ friendly. Plenty of restaurants (fancy and less fancy) near by. Views are incredible.

We spent 6 wonderful night at this resort. Loved every minute, the bed and pillows were of high quality. The large pool and beach were beautiful and well kept. We never had a problem finding pool chairs, plenty of shade if needed, or sun if that’s what you seek. Loved the peacefulness of this resort. Thank you

My partner arranged a one night stay over in this incredible resort as a surprise for my birthday and I can’t begin to describe how beautiful this resort is in words.
We booked the villa that had a private pool and jacuzzi that looked out to the sea and photos don’t do it any justice!!
Both the staff and owner of the resort went above and beyond to make our stay extra special and I can’t thank them enough. We were treated like VIPs the moment we landed at the Pier to the very end of our stay.
Food, service and amenities make it one of the best stays I’ve ever had and will definitely be coming back!

The Nirvana beach resort is the perfect place to stay in Koh Lanta. We stayed in a room that was two stories; The top floor devoted to a wonderful bedroom and bathroom, and the downstairs with a wet bar with a full refrigerator, another bathroom, a swinging couch, and a private pool. The view from all the above was directly west facing with a sunset to die for. The service and the food at the Nirvana is excellent. Breakfast was included in our stay, and each morning we were greeted by smiling, wait staff that remembered our orders from the previous day.

Each day the front desk staff arranged our activities which consisted of island hopping snorkeling, scootering (which you can rent from the resort) and an elephant sanctuary excursion. The beach at Nirvana resort was wonderful, swimmable, and the ocean toys were super fun. The pool was awesome and the swim up bar and hanging lounge chairs were incredibly relaxing. As a person who runs their own resort property in Mexico, I can say this is an incredibly well run resort! Congratulations to the owner (who is a sweetheart) for making it through Covid and providing this incredible experience!

If I ever go back to Koh Lanta, this is where I'm staying! You can't go wrong!

The resort has just about perfect location. Spreading over the side of a cliff at the end of long Khlong Nin beach, it has good access not only to the sea, but also to many bars and restaurants. Being open in 2020 it is new and modern. The pool facilities are very nice and you can easily switch between spending time directly on the beach, or by the pool. Our room had a nice balcony with the jacuzzi and beautiful views of the sea, especially at sunset. Although the resort offers plenty of comfort, you are not “tied to it” and can explore the island as much as you wish. The motorcycles can be rented at the resort by the day, while other tools (kayak, paddleboard) are available for free. After looking at other places around the island, we extended our stay for about two weeks and did not get bored. We love Ko Lanta because of its laid back, not so “tourist oriented” atmosphere. If you are after relaxing holiday, relatively away from mainstream crowds, this island is what you are looking for. At the same time, the Khlong Nin area offers enough entertainment and we will be back to Nirvana Resort for sure!

Really lovely hotel, had the whole place to ourselves and the staff were really kind and hospitable (particularly the pool bartender in the evening!) We rented a scooter but there was an issue with the accelerator so they didn’t charge us which was appreciated.

Randomly selected this resort as a walk in guest and stayed in their suite. Fantastic views, friendly staff.. Had a deserving soak in their jacuzzi at night after a long motorcycle ride.

Cons: Hot water not really hot, and the lack of a toilet door in the suite does bother me a little.

But all the cons are forgotten the moment the sun starts to set to the symphony of the crashing waves in the privacy of your own spacious balcony.

This resort was absolutely amazing! Built along the cliff edge overlooking the sea, everywhere one looks there is beauty. The room was just as amazing. Large space inside the room with a King Size bed facing the ocean and the private balcony. The linens were just as soft as the bed and kept me warm at night the with AC blowing. The private balcony came complete with a jacuzzi. I was fabulous sitting in the jacuzzi while watching the sun setting and drinking my favorite beer. The restaurant was reasonably priced and the food was good (I would suggest a Thai version of the menu for the local guests). The pool is enormous and with a pool side bar you can swim up to and order a beer (drink/food) what’s not to like. I cannot say enough good things about this resort. I will be coming back to visit again.

One of the best Resorts I’ve ever been. The views are amazing, the rooms are pristine and well designed, with the popular thailand wood and crazy views. Mine had the outdoor jacuzzi with ocean views, one of the best sunsets. The staff very friendly and they speak english, thats very helpful. Merry was very very nice with us always helpful with local recommendations and rentals/touring support. The food was good, the prices on point, not cheap but not crazy expensive like in other luxury places in Thailand. Quite, clean, peaceful, nature and lovely Resort. Definitely we will stay again.

This is one of the most beautiful resorts I have ever been to! The rooms are great, some have hot tubs in the balcony with ocean view. The resort is directly by an absolutely stunning beach. Thinking back of my stay there brings tears to my eyes because it was so beautiful, especially compared to my pos life now!

Amazing and beautiful hotel. The staff are fantastic and we'll do anything they can for you. However, sometimes it can be a struggle with the language barrier.

Overall would definitely stay again and would recommend absolutely amazing experience.

It was an amazing stay. Really nice rooms, beach and pool facilities. Apart from that also the people working there were amazing and friendly, especially Merry (like merry Christmas), he is the best man. Organising everything you need and speaking English very well. He is so customer and service oriented and made our stay perfect. Such a service I have never experienced in Thailand. Thanks Merry.

An absolute dream of a hotel. They knocked every criteria out of the park. Firstly, LOCATION is at the most beautiful end of arguably the best beach stretch on the island. Its a 10-minute walk along the beach to get to the main cluster of bars, restaurants and massages, which means you're secluded but close enough to get to the action.

As for the RESORT itself, the attention to detail is just incredible. The pool area blends seamlessly into the beautiful sea and the reggae music is the cherry on the top.

It's very refined and easy to forget you're on sleepy Koh Lanta (which itself is one helluva charming island).

Breakfast is either buffet style, or a la carte, and both were fantastic!

Special mention to Dear and Mik on the front desk and Sak down at the pool bar. You are embodying the Nirvana vibe!

Some small minor suggestions though -
- the bathroom blind should be operable from the inside only; not the outside. Think about it..
- there needs to be hooks in the bathroom to hang clothes and towels etc
- better/cosier lighting is required in the room. Either darkness or very bright lights.

Our scooter broke down just outside the Nirvana hotel. Two of the staff immediately approached us and tried to get the scooter started. They really tried, but it was no use. The scooter had broken down. So we were invited to wait in the reception for assistance. The staff were so nice and friendly and brought us juice. After about one hour, a new scooter was delivered to us and we could continue our ride to a nearby beach.

We stayed at this stunning hotel and it felt like a boutique (more than) 5* experience! The location and rooms are absolutely stunning and the service was impeccable. The staff really went out of their way to suit our needs and the eastern style hospitality and warm personal touch really made our stay extra special. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely loved Nirvana Beach Resort! Traditional beach bungalow vibes, but with luxury. The staff knocked on the door on the second morning, asked if we would like an upgrade, and moved us to a suite with a jacuzzi on the balcony 😍 Might have been a covid thing but breakfast was also brought to the room and set up on the balcony overlooking the sea.

Omg!!! Nirvana is now my second home away from home. I can't wait to get back. 3 nights stay turned into 12 nights. After an hour arriving there I wanted to stay longer. Even my boyfriend wanted to extend after our first extension. Best owners, staff, rooms (we were also offered a an upgrade), private balcony and jacuzzi, delicious food, amazing views and sunsets. Oh and complimentary cake for my birthday. Luxury at its best and well worth the money. The gym was right down my alley too. Plenty of activity nearby and all can be booked from reception. Love, love, love. 5⭐ isn't enough. Thank you for this special time.

Absolutely beautiful resort. Extended our stay 3 times because it was the most relaxing, comfortable, fun place to be. Owners and staff are amazing, helpful people. Food was delicious, and any outdoor activities can be ordered at reception. Snorkeling, etc. There are fantastic water boards on site, for guests to enjoy. Rooms are so comfortable, with pillows you sink into. Big thanks to Dudley, Sai, kat, Lillie and Sarah, and all the staff. For giving us a fantastic stay. Can't wait to get back. 100%. ❤❤❤
