We loved the experience. There was a narrow passage where we got stuck, and then we had to lay flat and crawl , which was fun. Passing through narrow stretches of the cave are the best parts. Can spot a lot of spiders on the walls of the cave.
Wear comfortable clothing and shoes. Carry water, humidity is next crazy level inside the caves. We were soaking wet by the end.

Visited on Jan 3 at 11am. Must try! The best cave trekking experience! Duration estimated 2 hour. 30min walk/climb up to the cave, 1 hour cave exploring , 15min walk down cave.

Cons: hands, shoes and clothes will be covered with mud. Need good agility to climb and endure the stuffy and humid cave.

Price: 300 baht entrance fee with guide.

300thb per person. You receive a lamp and a guide.

Great experience, pretty big cave. At some point you'll have to crawl. Bring good shoes and assume your clothes will get completely dirty.

Lots of bats and some spiders.

Fantastic experience not for the faint hearted or less fit. Guide is essential and worth every penny. Jungle trek followed by an obstacle course through the caves.
Great morning

Great experience, we had a very nice English speaking guide. Did not seem to be a standard tourist tour, visitors should wear proper shoes as the way and cave may be a bit slippery.

Amazing experience. The walk to the cave is a small adventure. You have to use ropes and wooden ladders. The cave itself is an amazing experience. Complex, tight. Full of huge spiders and bats. You have to take a guide and there is no chance you can make this without one.

Great experience, cave is pretty long (30mins), guide gives flashlight, cost 300b which is worth it, you wouldn't find way inside cave without guide.

I can say only one word about this: WOW! This wasn't like a normal boring cave trip where you just walk through the cave; for me this was an adventure! The entrance, guide and a flashlight cost 300bht so it was very cheap especially because the cave is quite deep in the jungle and trust me; you can't find it by yourself. The whole journey requires quite good physical shape and it can be rough for some people especially because there's lots of climbing and going down and the oxygen levels are quite low in the cave. The guide we had was good, he spoke English well and was talkative. We also saw few spiders and at the end of the tour we entered a cave full of bats. It was really an adventure and I can recommend it for all!

Awesome little adventure! 300bath for a guided tour (who could be very talkative or not at all) they give you one head light each just before going inside the tunnels! 30min walk into the jungle with some climbing to get to the cave, about 1 hour inside, pitch dark, warm and slippery, some big spiders and a bat cave at the end. You need to be a little fit and wear some good shoes and old clothes to really enjoy the path: we felt like Indiana Jones! It gets very narrow so you literally need to crawl in the last passage before the exit, which is a little scary but very exciting! After walking back you can enjoy some really cheap meal and drink! Definitely suggested!

Probably one of the best tourist attractions in Koh Lanta after the famed beaches if you are willing to step out of your comfort zone and get off the beaten track. The cave is accessible only with a guide and we were lucky enough to meet Lek. The cave is amazing in itself but he showed us a fantasy like interpretation of the stalagmites, stalactites and other formations. An entry fee of 300 B per person applies.

Its open (dont believe the „its closed“ rating!) Book a guide and enjoy! But only if you are fit (and slim) enough!

Very nice adventure of 2hours. Worth the 300. Forced to go with a guide. Tour start every 30min. Better to go with shoes. A bit slippery. Ok for clostrophobic, the cave is big enough.

Great cave, never done any caving so great for people with no experience, perfect mix of open air spaces and tight challenging slow going squeezes. Guide was great, gentle, quiet and funny, pointed out all the good footholes, slippy parts and how to position yourself. Trek up to the cave was good aswell, up steep rocks and waterfalls and through rivers in the jungle.

There are some quite tight bits in the cave where you have to get on your hands and knees to crawl through, but if you are okay with that then I highly reccomend.

Some parts have bamboo bridges and wooden ladders, all in good shape, felt quite stable as long as you go slowly.

Head torches were provided, bring your own water and good footwear though, definitely not flipflops, I had sandals and they were good (going through rivers and cave water at ankle depth)

Very nice spot an Lanta has both tropical nature incl waterfall and awesome cave but requires good condition with trecking shoes otherwise highly risky because slippery and dangerous

Exiting place. Genuine, looks like an Indiana Jones set. Spiders, monkeys and beautiful nature

I wasn't expecting that at all. Very nice walk in a completely dark and slippery cave. It's a 2 hours adventure. You have to pay 300 baht per person but it worth it.
Advice 1 : Take good shoes. Even if you can do it with flipflops (like I did), it will make the adventure more difficult.
Advice 2 : Don't try to pass the entry without waiting for the guide in order to avoid to pay 300 baht. It's almost IMPOSSIBLE and very DANGEROUS to go in the cave without a guide.

Adventurous hike to the cave followed by a mysterious gigantic cave tour topped with a crazy wall of sleeping little bats in the cave - must do in Koh Lanta, every BAHT is worth it.

Great adventure!
We visited this cave a month ago and really enjoyed the tour.
They do have guides there and I would not visit it without!
It is worth the money and if the cave is closed then I am sure there is a reason why.

What a great adventure, after visiting most popular islands in Thailand, this cave is one of the best adventures I had. Definitely worth the time and effort if you are into climbing and hiking. About 30 mins walk to cave and about an hour inside. Have some proper shoes and be ready to get wet and dirty and of course enjoy the tour although the guide may not be very informative but still you will love this cave :)
