Go Dive Lanta โก ไดฟ์ ลันตา

So the reason I picked this place was because it's the only Thai owned local dive shop on the island and my decision paid off more than I could have imagined. The dive sites ( Koh Haa and Koh Bida) are pristine and full of life (I saw 5 blacktip reef sharks on my first dive during my open water cert and a leopard shark and too many other things to count). The only other people there were the ones I came with and the guides are all super dedicated and experts in finding things that no one else will see. I even got to see an octopus during a night dive (thank you Tahz!!) And my instructor, Antonio, was the best teacher I could have asked for. I wasn't the easiest student (I panicked easily and I had a lot of issues because I tore my ACL a year ago and never fully recovered) but he never lost patience with me, went the extra mile to make sure I was comfortable and picking up all the skills properly and most importantly he was always honest about what I needed to work on and made the whole process so much easier. And everyone on the boat was so friendly!! Literally everyone there was always ready to chat and look up whatever we saw during the dive and teach me cool things the whole time and it was such a wholesome experience. This is the only place to come if you really want to learn and be the best diver you can be. And the photographer Zoe (coolest person you'll ever meet) takes amazing pictures, be sure to give big smiles when you see her in the water.

This was definitely my highlight of 1 month traveling in Thailand! I had an amazing tour with Tid, well organized, and he showed the amazing marine life Thailand have to offer and we even spotted shark! Tid was amazing to keep me calm and enjoy the water even tho I have big respect and what’s in it! Godive was great organized upfront with communication, insurance & pickup. Great food and great boat. I would definitely recommend going snorkeling with ppl that dives, they just have more passion for marine life! Would recommend (and do it over again) any time!!

- we went to Koh ha and there are beautiful places for both diving and snorkeling.

Thank you, Tid, Yub, and the whole Go Dive Lanta team for one of our best diving and snorkeling experiences! My husband has been diving for 27 years, and he said he’s never gotten such individualized attention anywhere else. We each had an instructor with us, and they even took pictures for us so we could just enjoy our time underwater. Such an unexpected kindness! We saw so many schools of fish, healthy coral, giant puffers, moray eels, lobster, yellow box fish, sea snakes, the list keeps going…If you go to Koh Lanta and you’re looking to dive/snorkel, we highly recommend a trip to Koh Haa with the Go Dive Lanta team.

The company gave good explanations about what the day would be like, including early pick up at our hotel and breakfast and lunch meals provided as per of the day.
Antonio our dive instructor, made us feel very comfortable from the start and gave us clear explanations for exercises we had to learn and what we would experience at 12meters.
I had few issues with decompression but with Antonios support, managed to get past those quickly.
We loved the dives, special thanks to our instructor and we highly recommend the company !

3 days driving in a raw with Go Dive, super tall, super sure… a wonderful experience! I wish I could have stayed longer.

What an amazing experience! First of all, and most important, we felt completely safe and cared for at every moment during the experience. Our instructor Joel explained everything we needed to know in a calm and informative way, making no room for misunderstandings. Throughout the day and the dives he was always attending to our needs and safety, and should you be so lucky as to get him as your instructor the experience can only be great. The three diving sites were beyond beautiful accompanied by a well-organised tasty lunch with a vegetarian option. If you’re still wondering whether you will get your money’s worth by entering a beginner’s diving day with Go Dive - the answer is YES.

Great dive shop! Everyone is kind and professional, great dive guides, equipment, and instructors. The boat is large and comfortable (not a speedboat), the meals on board are above and beyond (eggs, toast, veggies, meats for breakfast, 4 Thai dishes for lunch) and they have coffee/coca cola/water/tea/electrolytes.
Do your course or fun dives with them, you won’t regret it :)

After two years living on the island I have decided to try diving and started the open water course. I chose GoDive because its owned and run by local people. And I did not regret it. I had the best time with them. My Dive Master, Non an excellent teacher, super patient, explains everything very well, and made me feel very comfortable even though I was very nervous before the dives. The team takes good care of you, they have excellent food on the boat. I can highly recommend this company, they are very professional

Highly recommend. Everything is very well organised including accommodation pick up. The staff are kind, friendly and professional. As for the DSD diving experience it was amazing. The locations I went to with Go Dive Lanta were beautiful most importantly though as I’m new to scuba my instructor was very patient, kind and knew exactly what he was doing. I felt at ease and he made me feel I could do it even though I was nervous at times. Now I can’t wait to do more diving.

Everyone is nice, the boat is great and the diving sites around Lanta are breathtaking. I've dived with Go Dive many times and the instructors and dive masters I've had the pleasure to go with have all been nice and patient.

This is the only locally-owned/Thai owned dive shop in Koh Lanta. I believe that tourism can really support good local development so I try to always choose Thai-owned businesses.

We found Go Dive to be an excellent choice! They were friendly, professional and fun!

We were all first time divers and came for a one-day discovery dive. It was my son’s 16th birthday and the team even got him a surprise birthday cake! Very kind and generous of them.

So we (two adults in our 40s, 16 year-old and 12.5 year old) had a great day. My husband and I were both pretty nervous and really appreciated the clear and informative safety briefings and instructions from our dive masters/guides. If it’s a discovery dive for newbies it’s one dive master per two new people. Our dive masters were both European and spoke good English. There are a range of five masters/guides. Thai and foreign staff. All were great.

It was a bit scary but I felt safe and well looked after. The kids of course thought it was great fun.

It’s a 2 hour boat ride to the dive site-Koh Haa. And when you get there it’s beautiful!

The good-breakfast and lunch was good. Hot drinks too.

We really enjoyed our experience with Go Dive and I plan to come back and do a 3-4 day dive course to get more proficient!

Really good experience all round, the atmosphere on the boat is relaxed and fun. The dive sites are amazing, honestly incredible, and the instructors were patient and helpful.

The dive instructors are super experienced and pretty relaxed and fun. The whole experience doesn't feel soulless and corporate, really chilled, you feel more like you are diving with friends than being a dive centre customer which is the best imo.

If that's your sort of thing you'll love this centre.

Amazing team!
I had a long break from diving and Go Dive Lanta made it sooo easy to refresh my skills.
I had yesterday 3 dives incl refreshment training with Antonio as my dive master.
He was wonderful!! A qualified trainer, patient with 60 dives a month.
We had 3 different spots for diving all well chosen and not crowded. We saw a lot corals fish 🐠 of all kinds, a yellow seahorse, black tip sharks 🦈…

Had 3 amazing days with Go dive Lanta doing the Advanced Adventurer Course! The whole staff is very welcoming and friendly. We were picked up at our Hotel and afterwards dropped there again. Our dive master, Non, was a very experienced diver and great to work with, couldn’t have been better! Food on the boat was good and we got pictures taken from us the whole trip. In summary I can recommend this diving school whole heartedly.

About a week ago, my friends and I had the pleasure of diving with Go Dive Lanta. There were 3 of us who got our Open Water Certs and our other friend already had hers but also wanted to dive with us. We had emailed Go Dive before arriving in Koh Lanta and they were very quick to respond to our message and also extremely accommodating for our request to all dive as a group! My partner and I went in the day prior to our course starting and were able to get proper fitting gear and to pay for our course. The people working at the shop were very kind and pleasant to speak with. Day 1 we were picked up near our hotel and met our instructor Antonio and one of the dive masters. We reviewed some materials from the online textbook (very thourough) and proceeded to learn the exercises in the pool.

The following 2 days we got to dive in the ocean. We were picked up near our hotel again and we were greeted as we walked into the shop and welcomed aboard the boat. Antonio communicated with us the schedule for the day, reviewed a few things then took us downstairs to prep our gear. Once we finished that, we were free to help ourselves to coffee and breakfast and relax before we arrived at the diving location. The first dive was amazing!! We got to see a turtle (so cool and unexpected) as well as many other beautiful fish!! The second dive was equally as amazing. After hopping aboard the boat, we cleaned our gear thoroughly and we back upstairs to chat with Antonio about the dives and eat some lunch. The lunch was unreal, so delicious!!! The boat crew was also very friendly and helpful as well. 🙏🏼 Our last day was very similar to day 2. Except we got to see a shark this day and got to squeeze in a third dive for 1000 baht (so worth it!).

This entire experience was amazing. I would have to say it was the highlight of my 2.5 months of traveling Southeast Asia. Well done everyone! Thank you for taking such good care of us and taking pictures of us throughout the dive days. I will remember this experience for the rest of my life! 😁👏🏼

My brother and I spent one day doing 2 dives with our great instructor, Non. His instructions were very clear and precise and went into good detail about clearing water from your mask etc.

The entire boat team made everyone feel at home and it was an amazing experience start to finish.

Total pros. Did the beginner diver package and the entire time my guide was helping explain what was happening, addressing my anxieties, and overall provided an amazing experience. I hope to be back again and fully get my certificate.

We did a 3-day SSI open water course with Go Dive Koh Lanta and really enjoyed it. Everything was very well organised, from the course materials to the dives themselves. They have a big and comfortable boat. Special thanks to our instructor Antonio, he explained everything really well and made it a relaxed and fun experience for us. We also got great photos of us under water and on the boat. We had a lot of fun and would really recommend Go Dive.
