Palm Beach Divers

Can't recommend them enough. It had been a few years since my last dive, and they required a refresher (appropriate and safe/necessary), and were very accommodating and made it possible to combine this with a day trip. They combined our trip with a few others on a large, covered boat with plenty of food and drinks. They provided clear communication from start to finish. Water conditions were good in this case, but that's not in their control anyways.

100% recommendation - if you want to get the most out of your dives, choose Palm Beach Divers. The owners and at the same time divemasters are very friendly and funny, but more importantly they know their dive sites by heart. They know exactly which animals live in which places and can precisely assess the current from the boat, so that you can experience brilliant dives. We saw black tip sharks, leopard sharks, stonefish, turtles, lionfish, tons of pufffish, lobster and many many more in one day. Groups are smaller than in other dive centers, allowing for more individual dives. You feel welcome from the second you enter the diving school. Nice bonus: the food is delicious! Hotel pickup is also no problem. Stop searching for the perfect dive center on Koh Lanta - you found it here :)

We were so happy to learn that this place does children’s swim lessons. The instructor Marcus speaks German and excellent English and is absolutely amazing with kids. Our six year old gained so much confidence in the water and learned a ton of new skills. Most importantly safety skills. She loved going and I was amazed at how absorbed she was when Marcus was instructing, he’s a great teacher. This was a huge highlight of our trip. Thank you!

thank you for such an amazing memorable experience! All the staff were very helpful, Jose our dive master in particular was very calm, patient and knowledgeable. He remained fully focused on our group. We went to Koh Haa and on our second dive we saw many beautiful sights with the highlight being a sea turtle! An unforgettable morning. If you only have half a day then Palm Beach have their own speedboat and an early start. The whole dive experience was well organised and professional.

Fantastic dive school ! For first diving experience we decided to start with basic diver course. Our teacher was Jose from Portugal who was very professional with patience and great English. The PBD ha multi-national team, we will be back ;)

PS. We encourage for the beginners to reserve 3 full days at Ko Lanta to do Open Water Course. In our case we had to leave after two days and OWD course cannot be done.

Great place to start your diving journey! I was very scared of diving and I just wanted to try. After one day under water I decided to do an Open Water Diver Certificate with Palm Beach Divers. They are 100% professional. Iwona is amazing person and very patient instructor. Perfect for everyone with any fears. There is very friedly atmosphere on the boat. Trip starts with Polish style breakfast (homemade bread, sausages, egs etc), after first dive homemade cake and fruits are served and after second dive everyone eat delicous lunch (different everyday). Staff take really good care of everyone on a boat, they even offer seasick pills. I highly recommend those guys for diving in Ko Lanta. That would be unforgettable adventure.

I did my Open Water Diver course at the Palm Beach Divers centre. The course lasted three days. Mr. Gryglewicz taught me the theory on the first day and we practiced the basics in the pool. On the second and third day we were on a boat and had dives next to the islands Koh Haa and Koh Bida. On the boat we had delicious breakfast, drinks, snacks and lunch. Before each dive my instructor explained and showed me where we were going to dive and what sea animals we could see using pictures and maps. He was always open to answer questions in a detailed and understandable way. I never felt insecure or scared because my instructor was always professional and very good organised. The diving was indescribably beautiful, I saw countless fish, clownfish, beautiful corals, turtles and much more.
I can only recommend this well-kept, professional and multilingual diving school!!!

So what to start with hmm? I really do recommend this place and Som as instructor and Mui as buddy. For people who want to start diving this place is perfect as it has swimming pool where you can learn basic skills. All gear is good quality also there is no rush with anything you can do learning in small groups or 1v1 with instructor. Also diving /snorkeling is well managed. You have breakfast then 1 dive after that you can eat cake and some fruits go for 2. dive and then go back for lunch. Place 10/10. Something more about instructors. I never felt there as customer but as friend. Whole team is amazing and funny. They explain everything step by step they show a lot of pics/ videos also you won't only learn how to dive but see sea life as well. I've been diving with Som and Mui and I'm really happy I met them! It was such fun for me I wanted to do just more and more classes. Som is highly skilled diver who can see everything under water( even small, tiny animals). Also she made my course interesting and funny. She will teach you all required skills, show how to do this and explain everything and then under water let you know where to look and find wild animals or plants. If you will feel panic or stressed they will help you for sure. Instructor 100/10.
Also there is polish instructor. In this diving center owner speaks Polish, English, German for sure.

Deep diving, perfect bouyancy, and Nitrox were three specialties I did here. I had a private session with my instructor Wlodek (also an owner). He was professional and knowledgeable. During the trip, I saw a significant improvement in my abilities. Definitely coming back 😉

I had a great experience taking a few courses and fun diving here! Small group experience was appealing to me. Nice fast boat too!

We were visiting Lanta in February and always wanted to try diving, so we decided to give it a try and make our Open Water Diver. Wlodek and his team are super nice, and we had a great time, and it was really fun learning diving from Wlodek. He takes the time to answer every question and once under water u feel really safe with him (or the other instructors). We can highly recommend everyone to give diving a shot and stop by at the Palm Beach Divers shop and learn diving there.

Our snorkeling trip with Palm Beach Divers on Ko Lanta was incredible. We saw abundant marine life, vibrant coral reefs, and even spotted a shark. Guides Wlodek and Bowy were fantastic, providing knowledge and ensuring safety. The equipment was excellent, and the boat comfortable. Highly recommended for a memorable underwater adventure in Thailand.

Great experience diving at Palm Beach Divers. The whole team was very helpful and nice. They take time to explain, before each dive, how the dive will go and the fishes we can expect to see. The equipment was good. A plus is that we go by speedboat to the places of dive. The breakfast and lunch were very good too.

Had an amazing day! The day before I did my refresher course with Mario which was great and very helpful! Then I went diving with Geng, which was amazing! Saw some amazing sea life and Geng also helped us spot lots of things we would have missed. My mum went snorkelling with Mui, she said she was very caring, attentive and observant, helping her to see lots of beautiful sea life and guided her through the water! Oh and the food is bloody good too!

We did the Basic Diver course at Palm Beach Divers in Koh Lanta. Great atmosphere, competent trainers, preparation for the first underwater adventure at the highest level is the perfect setting for what we experienced on two descents into the water. I wholeheartedly recommend it!

I did my my open water here and I am extremely happy!! I came to this dive school by an accident, and did not regret it once. Everyone were extremely friendly and very very professional. My instructor Jose explained everything very clearly and I had the best time diving 12m and 18m. I highly recommend everyone to dive with this dive center, you won't regret it!

Wonderful experience with Palm Beach Divers ! I did my SSI deep dive specialty with them and the course delivered was of really high standard, with excellent equipement in addition to the traditional SSI course. Honestly it is the best place in Koh Lanta to dive with (best price/quality). The team is really nice, Jose and Wlodek are really top tier instructors. The boat is nice, fast and allow you to join the best diving spots quickly. In addition, they were very flexible and helped me to take my course in the short time I spent on the island. Got my open water certification with Palm Beach Divers, an amazing experience. The staff are very nice and super knowledgeable, making me feel comfortable every step of the way (my instructor was Francesca). My group was only 3 people so you really get the individual help and attention when you need it. The 2nd and 3rd days of the 3-day course included 2 dives per day around nearby islands. The sites are incredible with tons of sea life and beautiful coral reefs! Highly recommended diving with Palm Beach if you are in Koh Lanta!
