Very peaceful atmosphere and tables well spaced out for a bit of private conversation. Low key upbeat music lightly playing in the background that does not drown out the ocean sounds. Tables were clean and staff were friendly, prompt and quick with service. Really enjoyed the food and would recommend the barracuda with tamarind sauce. Would definitely go back

The food is as good and the staff as nice as in the comment; at least the Pad Thai didn't disappoint me. A man who looked like a senior staff there kindly explained how I should be eating the Pad Thai - squeeze the sliced lemon on top and then choose the right condiment for a desired taste. That wasn't the first time that I had had my favorite Thai dish, yet I still thanked him as much as I had not.

Great location on the beach with nice places to relax during the day or of the sunset.
Tried only small dishes and they were ok.
What takes one star is the rather high pricing.
Fantastic place to see the sunset.
Good prices on the beer, good...
Service from the staff is also super good.

Wandered towards the north end of the beach to see all the restaurant options available. Decided to go with Thai Cat, and very happy we did. Great location right on the beach. Lots of options on menu with very fair prices. Service was great, not intrusive, just got what we needed. You can't beat a nice meal right on the edge of the beach. Happy with the food quality and prices overall. Definitely recommend and will go back myself.

we love this place! They have comfy covered little hats under big trees, great to chill out. Staff is so friendly, the place is organized, food is good. They are also not pushy for orders. Some say food isn’t good, but hey, we liked it and also not looking for a Michelin star dish. We came here every day during our time in Long Beach.

We have spent many an afternoon at Thai Cat and absolutely love it. The staff are all so friendly and efficient, they work really hard to keep everything nice. Our kids love spending time there, too, with all of the toys and play equipment. The food is fantastic and you cannot beat the lovely view. Our favourites are the calamari, fried chicken, and fried rice. Best restaurant on koh lanta!

Really nice romantic place on the beach.

Price are decent, because quality of meal is really good. I recommend to have a seafood, with fish you will get rice and two sauces.

Also you can pay by card with no fee :)

Great experience dining here. The service is lovely, food is tasty and fresh and the decor is nice. Extra lovely if you can bag a beachfront hut to lounge in.

Great beach location for a quick lunch or very special for a dinner, beach front sunset. Food is great. Good prices. They even have a shower to get you off the sea water.

The people were very friendly and welcoming. The service was excellent the staff was right there when needed, and the food was incredible. The restaurant is right on the beach and is very relaxing. I will definitely be back.

Beautifully presented and delicious food. The spring rolls looked nice and fresh (I didn't try them because they had fish inside). My green curry had broccoli and other vegetables you wouldn't normally get, which I liked. A bit more expensive than some, but it's worth it for the quality and dinner on the beach.

There are many places on the beach. However, the facilities and service here are awesome. First thing in the morning, a solid hot cappuccino. They actually have a proper espresso machine. Second, the facilities for showering and bathrooms are much nicer than some of the dinkier places on this Long Beach. Meow.

Great place to have som spicy Korean chicken wings + beer, while watching the sunset.

Very child friendly, toys and playground

We went there because of the name, as we saw it riding by a few times and got curious 😂 we were not disappointed 😁 we'll, no cat there but apparently a native wild cat can be seen around there if you're lucky. We weren't 😂but got spoiled with yet another great view, friendly staff, lovely fruit shakes and yummy omelettes 😊

Amazing food, incredible place, really nice staff so it has everything you would wish for in a restaurant. They serve traditional thai food that is really amazing. The restaurant is in Long beach, directly on the beach. So you can have dinner watching the sunset. Prices are relatively high for Thailand but worth it.

The staffs r wonderful n friendly. Food tasty n they can accommodate any special requests especially for vegetarian dishes. We were at Ko Lanta for 6 days, we practically dine everyday at Thai Cat. Good choice
