Klong Khong Restaurant

Delicious food served on the beach. We ate here twice and had the best tom yum goong on the island, along with grilled crab, stir fried morning glory and rice. Epic food, good service, incredible setting for sunset.

We ate here twice, the food was incredible but the service quite slow. Beers could be a lot colder too, but we had to return again as the food was amazing. Massaman curry and fried curry rice both superb. No Name vegetables were some of the nicest I have ever had

Came here for the afternoon and to take in the sunset.
I was not disappointed.

Place is in an excellent location- prime seating for the sunset views. Has both inside and outdoor (on the beach- feet in the sand) seating.
I was working - they have Wifi, ordered a Coconut shake (Nam praew pun) with no sugar and no milk. Just coconut water, coconut “meat” and water/ice…Delicious and beautifully presented.

I did not eat here, but the coconut shake was A+
And the views were incredible.

We have spent the last month in Thailand and this was one of our favorite restaurants. Beautiful location, great service and fantastic food. Prices are fair given the portion sizes. For two people, we ordered Laab, morning glory, and red curry stir fry and we slightly over ordered. We ordered each dish spicy, and it was the perfect blend of spicy and flavorful. Cannot recommend this restaurant enough!

Such a Tasty meal!!

We went here last night for our ‘end of holiday’ dinner and were not disappointed! We had a seafood curry in young coconut and was so delicious and haven’t tried anything like it before! We were quite hungry and went abit overboard with the dishes we ordered but we managed to eat it all and it was worth every penny! Lovely staff and a romantic atmosphere on the beach, perfect!

The place of our first truly Lanta beach sundown. Come enjoy it here, you’ll remember it forever.

Surprisingly delicious. Service was on beach time, but we didn’t come here to rush. Great tables on the sand with a huge menu. Whole fish was excellent and cocktails were properly made. Very happy we stopped by.

This is an amazing location in Long Beach, Koh Lanta. Very friendly staff and great service. Wonderful place to watch the sunset and great vibe after dark. 420 friendly and big half moon/full moon parties.

We had the morning glory stir fry, a grilled fish fillet with garlic and pepper sauce and Tom yum with noodle. All very good, I’ve had grilled fish at many places now and this was one of my favorite.

Great place to spend a few hours.

Food is very good, really enjoyed the chicken breast with lemon sauce and satay (that is quite generous portion wise).
The vibe is great, as you can choose to sit in the restaurant or in the bar next door. Of course, the sunset view is immaculate.

Delicious food in a very relaxed atmosphere. The squid BBQ was one of the best I ever had, the papaya and glass noddle salads as well. Directly at the beach, great staff, it couldn’t be any better

DELICIOUS FOOD!! Highly highly recommend this place! Very relaxed and romantic atmosphere. Freedom Bar next door is incredible also.

Food was great, service was friendly, nice place

We went here for breakfast and were the only guests. The staff was really nice, the food was good and the decor is amazing. Pancakes, Muesli and eggs were very tasty and the coffee was delicious - I had a real cafe latte, the first since traveling in Thailand.

Such an awesome looking place - like a place that's been built up over the years as odd items are washed ashore. You'll find flip flops stapled on trees, fishing netting and buoys weaved into the decor... apart from a great vibe, the food was fantastic - it's authentic, fresh, quick, customised (how spicy you want), very flavoursome, the service is great, plus it's on a beach front. 11/10 if I could - this place is pretty special.

Beautiful restaurant. It was recommended by our bungalows host and we can say that we weren't disappointed! :)
The food is delicious, not expensive at all and there are many different types (european, thai, international etc.)
Also, the interior is really well decorated, there is this typical island atmosphere with the boat and bamboos everywhere.

It's amazing how many dummies writing reviews here can't tell the difference between reviewing Klong Khong Beach and Klong Khong RESTAURANT. About half of the reviews here are for the entire beach when they should only be about the restaurant (which isn't even on the beach).
Anyway, I just finished eating here now (texting at my table). Had Masaman curry and chicken satay with peanut sauce. Both were excellent and at a great price. Lough the atmosphere. No complaints about the service. My only regret is I couldn't also fit in an entire BBQ fish for only 250B. Oh well, I have 3 more days here. Have to pace myself.

The fried papaya with fried chicken was fantastic (the chicken was seasoned with black pepper and garlic). The glass noodle salad with seafood was also delicious (if a little spicy). The service wasn't quick but then it rarely seems to be on Koh Lanta! The staff were very friendly and the place had great decor.
