Atami Escape Resort

Lovely place to spend the day. Rent the cabana. Food service is great. Not much food for a vegetarian. I had a salad. But my family enjoyed their food. Head down the steps to enjoy the natural sea pools.
Needs some repairs on a few pools. But overall a great day.

Been here a few years ago. Great place to enjoy yourself and relax. Love the cliff views and the restaurant there is very great .

We had a great experience staying at Atami. It was our last night in San Salvador and we wanted 24 hours in the sun, by the beach, before heading to Mexico City.

Things to appreciate:
- They allowed for early check in and the room was throughly cleaned. Absolutely no signs of bed bugs.
- The room had an AC (but no bug screen if you prefer window open through the night).
- The Pelican restaurant has VEGAN options. We have had issues finding any vegetarian option in downtown except mushroom or cheese pupusas. The food wasn’t of highest quality, but def better than expected. We can recommend the quinoa and veggie filled bell pepper and the tacos.
- There was Wifi throughout the facility and lounge music by the pools.
- The two beach access and natural pools + pools just next to the restaurant, including a shallow pool for the kids. The beach is a black sand and rocky, natural to the volcano area.
- Pool towels included for free.
- There are also local restaurants and bars on the public beach next to the resort.
- They offer surf lessons through local surfers.
- They offer massage through local therapists.
- Breakfast buffet was good and had something for everyone.

Things to consider:
- Make sure to order your Uber early as there is no shuttle service provided by the resort.
- There are no snacks such as chips, fruit, or candy to purchase at the resort to enjoy by the pool. Bring some from your outside activities.
- The shelves in our bathroom were all leaning forward and it was a challenge to utilize the space for our products.
- The bed isn’t super plushy, a better topper could do as I felt the springs through the mattress.

Day stay is very reasonable. Gazebos available. Food is excellent

Visited the pools on a day pass. We arrived late, with only 2 hours left before closing, and still found it worth every penny. Clean facilities, good drinks, friendly staff, unbelievable views, and amazing experiences swimming in the tide pools. Would return to stay and enjoy the space further. Wish we would have had time to enjoy the paths and beaches more.

We went to the restaurant Pelicans, the food was great. The service was very good. And the views were amazing.

This is a very cozy place, and secure. Employees are very nice, and helpful. The only thing was that they painted the bathroom door, and it was all sticky and the smell was very strong, never got a different room, but the rest was worth it.

Customer service is extremely good, friendly staff, and food is great. This is one of the best resorts i have stayed .

A really nice experience, best value on the coast. Great access to two beaches and two tide pools and two swimming pools. This is a place without pretention. Staff really friendly. Pelicano restaurant is good. Would benefit from the bat being open a little later than 9pm, better if it was 10pm especially on weekends.

Great experience for a great vacation! Spacious and clean rooms with AC, tons of cabins with seating and hammocks, delicious breakfast included, great restaurant and bar right in the resort, and amazing views with plenty of access to the beach. Really enjoyed the closed in beach pools to watch the big waves. Amazing service as well, highly recommend!

Excellent location with gorgeous views. Restaurant food is a little pricey! Rooms are air conditioned

A very cool space, with beach access, salt water tidal pool, cabanas with picnic tables and hammocks.
Multiple swimming pools, basketball and volleyball courts and a water slide are available if you want to take the active side of relaxing.
Stunning views of the ocean and shoreline from the bluffs, and both a bluff top restaurant and an air-conditionex meeting room are on the premises.
Overall, a great experience.

Great resort. The service is great and the food options are pretty good. The rooms are very clean and the warm shower water is a definite plus. There are some walkways that overlook the beach. Plenty of hammocks around to enjoy the sea breeze.

This is a really great place. The views are beautiful and the grounds are so meticulously done. Will definitely recommend and come back ❤❤❤

We only had time to spend a few hours here before our flight, and I am definitely planning to go back! It was so beautiful there, and the food was also very good. They offer a day pass to those who are not staying at the hotel, and it was well worth it! The Oysters were the best I've ever tried, and I definitely suggest spending a day or longer here! There is a pool in addition to the saltwater pools.

This place was so far the best resort i have been. The people was so friendly and professional that i will definitely come back. Next time i will be bringing all my family👍 if i could give 100 stars i would most likely do. Outstanding service

Great beach tourist friendly. Saw several American tourists on my visit. Facilities are super clean and for the price of admission $20 one gets 10$ for purchasing food from the resort. Plenty of picnic tables with hammocks overlooking the beach. Great place for photos! Recommended
