Liptov Village Museum Pribylina

I enjoyed it a lot. Very beautiful house museums, the church, the mansion, the train station, and the rest of the attractions! The tourist guides explained very well and informative, which I learned about the village's ancient history. The souvenir shops and the restaurant are great too! I highly recommend this place for those who are into ancient, traditional, and to learn all the manual household work.

It is good place to take your kids.
Best attraction in this museum is train. You should reserve free train ticket in front tickets office near entrance.
There are new walking path in the forest from last train station to old buildings area.

In old buildings area it will be much interesting to take guide. Without guide it's not so interesting for kids.

Another attraction for kids was sheeps 🐑🐑🐑.

I liked this open air museum. Some buildings like Maison, you can attend only with a guide. There is also nice bufet which serves traditional dishes, actually they were really good

Great place to see a bit of history of Slovakia. Tour guide available for certain parts of the village.
10eur for picture taking is a rip off considering you have to pay for parking and for entrance to the museum.

A perfect place to go with kids (good weather only). Beautiful small village with expositions, nice forest path with a playground, and a small forest railway. All placed seamlessly in the forest, so that you wonder what was there before - the museum, or the forest.
This is really worth visiting, sadly, it is practically the only place in Liptov where you don't see any tasteless commerce.

Very well executed museum. You can also catch a train ride through forest from friday to sunday.

A wonderful spectacle of how people lived in the past. In the back, it is then possible to see the old mining machines.

An intersting outside museum with a great tour in English. Really enjoyed the tour and looking inside the rooms. Also excellent authentic shopping for great prices. The girls also found it intersting because everything is visual.

One complex of village with old houses and churches, some of it is museum now with many things to display. Mostly of the stuff is from wood, also the houses is from wood. You need ticket for entrance. The view is nice, and if you go a little further you can also visit Tatras mountain.
