Minicamping Jana/Na roľníckom dvore

In one word amazing!

Great place to go to the Tatra mountains. (Although you need a car). The way to the village seems to be one out of a movie (if you take the last part using the no tolls option on Google maps). Also from the campsite itself the views are stunning. We hiked Rysy (a 7 hour hike for us from the Slovakia side, but the last part is challenging and leads you into poland) which I would recommend hiking. Furthermore Jana is a super friendly host. The campsite itself is serene and relaxing. The showers are mixed, but nice and warm. If the weather is bad there is a common area that is nice and warm. There is also a restaurant in town if you don't feel like cooking. It serves basic but cheap and good sized portions. (Beware the restaurant is only open for two months as I understood, also we couldn't find it on Google maps unless you search for the name of the restaurant, it is behind the coop supermarket). There are a lot of things to do around that we didn't get the chance to do due to the length of our stay, but we heard many positive stories from other people on the camp ground that undertook different activities!

A really nice small campsite runned by Jana, a lovely woman who speaks very good German. The view from the camp is beautiful on the mountains. You can make a small hike from the garden to the valley which is really nice. The camp is a really nice base for doing hikes in the tatras (high and low), you will need a car though. We came back later in our holiday because we liked the campsite so much.

There is a dog Bobby, who runs freely in the garden, he is sweet, but he is searching for food al the time so keep you’re food at a place which is not reachable for the dog.

I would definitely recommend camping here!

Thought we would stay for a few days, ended up staying over an entire week. Lovely camping site, wonderful guests and very clean! The view of the mountains is especially epic- including the view on the iconic Krivan mountain.

Jana made the stay absolutely fabulous- we will be coming back! ✨

This is a very pretty, small camping site. Beautiful views and an incredibly friendly and hospitable host. Rates are very reasonable.

I find it very strange to read the reviews by a one-star-group. For years Jana has been only kind and hospitable. They must really have misbehaved for her to ask them to leave.

Very pleasant host, clean amenities and a nice view of the Tatras. A shame that there isn't much life in the town itself, but you can't blame Jana for that.

We had a great holiday here. Beautifull area an campsite. It is a basic campsite with good facilities. The owner is kind and helpfull so you can enjoy your stay.

Awesome location in the middle of a traditional Slovakian town. Very nice and hospital owner. This campsite is worth traveling around for!

Na 21 jaar weer op de camping gestaan bij Jana. In de afgelopen jaren is het één en ander gemoderniseerd en verbeterd. Ook heeft Jana een hond gekregen, Boby, die lekker losloopt en het prima met onze Tukker kon vinden. Wat hetzelfde is gebleven is Jana zelf. Wat een heerlijk mens. Uiterst gastvrij en elke dag komt ze even langs voor een praatje. Bij aankomst kregen we een borreltje en werd er geproost met wat andere gasten op een prettig verblijf. Een dag later stond er eigen gebakken appelkoek op onze camping tafel en ook kregen we courgette uit eigen tuin.
Onze 17 jarige zoon die mee was vond het ook helemaal geweldig. Jana, de andere relaxte gasten, de omgeving en de gegarandeerde stilte in de avond en nacht. En natuurlijk de prachtige sterrenhemel met weinig licht vervuiling.
In de omgeving is meer dan voldoende te zien. Ook na er nu 3 keer te zijn geweest zijn er nog genoeg dingen waarvoor we zeker terug zullen komen. Kortom.....een topplek.

Super camping, pani Janka je jeden anjelik - vyčerpaní sme prišli celkom neskoro do campu, pani Janka nám svojou ľudskosťou a dobrým srdiečkom veľmi pomohla a zlepšila celý večer. Krásne výhľady, super vybavenie a veľmi dobrá lokalita. Ďakujeme, prídeme radi znovu :)

Heerlijk rustige camping met een geweldig uitzicht! De gastvrouw, Jana, is erg behulpzaam.
Een kleine supermarkt in de buurt en ook in het hoogseizoen (juli/augustus) een restaurant op loopafstand.

Výhľad na západ slnka a Kriváň, pekná rovná trávnatá plocha, pokojné miesto, plné vybavenie (wc, sprcha, kuchynka so všetkých +náradie a saponát)
Majiteľka nás privítala malým prípitkom :)
V blízkosti sa nachádza Račkova dolina, z ktorej je možný výstup na Klín.

Hallo Jana. Wir haben uns bei Dir sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir können den Campingplatz sehr empfehlen und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Camp je úžasný má dobré ceny a je tam všetko čo treba. Nie je tam rušno a plno ľudí keď chcete mať poriadny oddych a netlačiť sa tak tento camp je ideálny

Wir haben spontan nach einem ruhigen und authentischen Campingplatz gesucht und bereits am Telefon lief alles unkompliziert und herzlich. Bei der Ankunft fühlten wir uns dank Jana, als auch durch die weiteren Camper sofort wohl und willkommen. Der Platz ist liebevoll dekoriert und mit einem modernen Bad ausgestattet, das stets einwandfrei sauber war. Ebenso durften wir die Küche benutzen, in der alles zum Kochen, aber auch für einen Spieleabend vorhanden ist. Die Berge sind von hier aus gut mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Wir mussten leider nach zwei Nächten weiter, sonst wären wir definitiv länger geblieben. Wir kommen definitiv wieder und wer einen schönen familiären ruhigen Campingplatz mit einer wunderschönen Aussicht auf die Berge sucht, wird bei Jana mehr als fündig werden :)
