Park of Ľudovít Štúr

Lovely park, lots of greenery lots of benches and sitting areas with tables and even exercise areas. Usually, there is even a coffee stand. Now they added vending machines for renting sporting equipment for free. There are also children playgrounds for various age groups

Top park, kids loved it. It has toilets!

After considerable renovation, the park becomes a place for sports, recreation, walking the dogs, for the youth , adults and seniors as well...

Great place for a walk or run. There are plenty of opportunities for kids to play. It is great to see people workout out there, excercising yoga or just sitting and enjoying. You can get a coffee from Kafka mobile coffee point

This place is awesome for families. Your children have always something to do regardless of their age. Small fountain has 15 minutes intervals. You can even jog here, plenty of space available 😉. Restaurant is also on site. Coffee stall and ice cream are guaranteed during the summer. Just go there and enjoy your day.
Update 2022: No more ice cream shop 😢. You can walk 450 metres to another one near municipal swimming pool 😉.

Most beautiful park in Slovakia, best place for families with childre .

Amazing place. Nice for a walk (with or without a dog) or just to sit around and enjoy the nature and coffee. I'd especially recommend every coffee lover to try Kafka coffee inside the park.

Very vibrant place to hang out with your kids or friends, or family. There is plenty to do for every age seniors, teenagers, kids and parents. Plenty of sitting area, space for exercises, playful fountain. Clean and bright path where the kids can learn to cycle. Simply little gem in Žilina.

The most beautiful park in Zilina. After reconstruction is very family and sports friendly. Work out zone, kids zone, public toilet, nice refreshed park.

Nice small public park located close to the Žilina's public lido and Dubeň shopping mall. It's mostly visited by locals. Drinking water fountain and public toilet is available free of charge.

Well nice park in the middle between dormitories hliny and Veľký diel. There are workout structures, some playground for kids. Pavement to go jogging on. Lot of benches. I believe there is drinking fountain at the en near the bridge. Under the bridge there is space to spend time while it rains even.

Very nicely reconstructed park with playgrounds for younger and older kid, as well as with workout equipment, fountain, statue of Slovak national hero Ľudovít Štúr, meadows for training yoga, taichi etc., dog toilet, many benches for sitting, as well as laying, tables for picnic or playing games like chess or checkers, free WiFi for outdoor workers etc. A really nice place, a must-see in Žilina.

Really a fine place where to have a rest in Žilina, nice walking, sitting on benches or talking with friends. You won't need anything more, only some sunshine.

Green Oasis in the middle of the town. Many places for children to play, workout area, fountain and lot more.
