Were there with our kids. Both us and the kids enjoyed there more than expected. It seems that they treat animals with respect and love and don't drug them. You can pet some of the animals, which is very cool.

Great location for the kids to get a run around and enjoy the facilities. Crazy golf (free). Small train ride, Trampoline jumping zone, Fantastic walks with numerous locations to interact with animals and be up close and personal. Staff absolutely fantastic at making everyone feel welcome and relaxed. Tickets 14€ per person and kids under 3 are free.

The only down side is that it seems to be slightly run down and alot of areas not open. September seems to be a quite time so maybe its the end of the year. Overall great day out with not too much walking as everything is closely located. There are three zones A,B,C showing certain animals up close in there own areas at certain times. Small Zoo but perfect for kids.

Great place, must see place on Slovakia map for all people who like animals. Staff is helpful and know a lot about those animals, they speak english if its needed. Decorations of whole city can bring You realu nice climate. Closeness of nature that You can feel.

Very nice zoo that you and your kids can pet most of the animals. Must visit and worth the price 15 euro per person

What a lovely place. I visit Slovakiak after the four years with my granddaughter and i will definitely go back again. Well done to the team of zookeepers.

Amazing zoo that has it's focus on edicating (young) people. Lots of guided entrances into the actual pens to get up close with the animals under supervision of the zookeepers. Food for animals can be bought near the entrance.

Very small but interesting, you get to be really close to animals and observe while the staff feed them, the staff are friendly and welcoming.
If you have kids it’s the place.

A very unique experience in Slovakia. You can get in a very close contact with various animals, ranging from rabbits, goats and parrots, through kangoroos, pelicans and emus to bears and lions (the later cannot be touched). Especially for animals like rabbits, partots, squirrels, butterflies… you can get in the same room with them and they freely sit on you or climb on you. Definitely recommend visiting! There are nice attractions next doors as well.

the best zoo visit I've ever been to. the staff is extremely friendly, they accompany you through the garden and further detailed information about the animals. a must visit👆👆👆

We have already visited the ZOO four times with the children and they will surprise us with something new after each one. Children have the opportunity to pet or feed most animals. A wonderful experience for the whole family.

😎Our favourite moment was getting close to the bears.

Nice placem but don't expect anything super bright or see very happy animals. You pay 13 Euro per person and can touch some of them.

A small zoo at a brand new place. Lots of attractions which are included in the entrance ticket, wich is a great deal. Friendly personnel. Some animals (rabbits, parrots) may be stroked.
Vist took us several hours. Will come back.

It was great that it was like a whole small town with a zoo, a big kid's playground, a train ride and direct contact with some of the animals.
It was a shame that in the last week of September many things were off season and not open (train, cafés, a part of the playground).
I definitely recommend it, best in season.

Contact Zoo near Liptovsky Mikulas, near Tatralandia. The taxi costs €4 from Liptovsky Mikulas. The entry is around €7 per person but for €12 per person you can buy ticket to butterfly garden too.
Small food toys available. Child & buggy friendly. There’s loads of animals, loads you can go be touch - like tigers, bears, birds, kangaroos, donkeys, horses, wild birds & so on. Kids will love it - mine
Did. Took around 4 hours to go around. We came in the morning, the wait was around 30 min. Recommended!

An incredible journey to the animal kingdom in the heart of Tatralandia, Slovakia. Close contact with birds (there is a unique bar where free birds join your table) and enter the same den with free roaming Pelicans, rabbits, cats, guinea pigs and much more. This is a unique experience for all ages. The best of it is the chu chu train you can ride across the park with your little ones and enjoy a view of the whole park.

It is a great place to bring kids. It is also great for adults that like animals. You get some food for the animals and go to feed them. Some animals, like bear and tigers, can be fed only by adults. My girls loved the bird cage. There is a lot of animals for kids to feed or touch. It was very good. It can happen that you get a bit dirty so please do not bring your most expensive clothing. It is a good experience

They made it all possible to feel animals near you. For example I never saw a tiger/lion/bear before very close, 20 cm from my face, but nobody does not give you the possibility to touch them. On the other hand there are many animals you can touch. Near each animal you can find a responsible person which can explain you all about this animal and history of specific specimen.
