I red also the low ratings, but didn't understand or do not comply. I returned here after 20 years. I see here improvement in the sphere and service without changing the nature of this place. This is not a fancy restaurant for Ticktockers or Instagrammers. Do not interchange it with a fast food. This is an authentic experience. Food is much better and cheaper than in Vysoké Tatry. Their try to understand the client needs. Toilets are clean. Parkin accessible from BOTH sides of the highway. Only problem could be wheelchair accessibility. For the rest, I definitely recommend to everyone who likes authenticity (please be aware that they are plenty of recipes for "halušky" and the "bryndza" quality change in season, the Italian or Chinese visitors could be surprised 🙂)

A dream lake side rustic location filled with history, excelent and polite serving, decent prices, tasty and fresh food. The lake view makes this short visit unforgettable, if You ever cross around there it is a must stop! Souvenirs are and artizan products are also available in the yard. You cam reach the restaurant from both sides of the highway by crossing a short tunel beneath.

Beautiful restaurant with stunning views of the lake and mountains its a bit hidden looks like a truck stop from the main road we had to go all the way around the lake to get back but was definitely worth it the food is delicious.

Very nice and cozy place especially inside. There is an outside terrace with great view over left side of Liptovská Mara. Food is decent for the money. Excellent stop on your journey, can recommend. Also check behind the Salaš as well if you like views.

Great restaurant by the lake. Perfect to enjoy nice food sorrounded by beautiful lake views (specialy halusky and mountain cheese). Very good prices and friendly/quick service. Just the halusky's bacon was quite s bit toasted to my taste but apart from that small things totally worth it.

Actually more than this restaurant the Lake behind it is the main attraction to stop here...

Lovely rest stop while travelling. Only few gluten free options, but a wide offer otherwise. Regional cuisine, comfortable seating, reasonable prices.
