Stanišovská Cave

Beautiful cave with guide only entrance happening every hour during opening hours. The guided tour lasts about an hour and the guide was very informative but also entertaining. Overall a great experience and would reccomend to check it out.

This is perfect place for an exploration. Located on the crossroad of few hiking routes.
You will get to explore true and utter darkness inside of the cave.

It’s a lovely cave near Liptovsky Jan. easy to get to, parking available. Perfect for small kids & families. We went in August, it wasn’t cold, just jumper was enough, trainers are fine. It does get colder in winter of Corse. Tickets are €6 adults €3 child. There’s toilet available. You need to be able to walk but my 3 year old was ok with the experience. There were elderly with sticks & they were ok too. The talk was in Slovak but the guide was able to speak English too. Recommended x

The cave is nice. Our guide Nikita was amazing. She was passionate and entertaining.
Don't forget it's a cave and not a theme park : bring warm clothes (7° year-long inside), good shoes, and don't mind getting a bit dirty 😉

A very enjoyable cave, we recommend visiting it in the summer as the temperature inside is around 6 degrees Celsius. The cave is smaller, but the guide made it into quite a show. A great place for families with children. The terrain is not demanding. I recommend bringing a powerful headlamp (you will get one ther, but it’s not very powerfull) and better footwear, or thicker socks.

Not a fancy cave with glamorous and rich decoration, rather small and cosy. Nevertheless, the experience makes the difference. It was quite crowded, when we visited the cave, we had to wait for the next entry, which was organised in addition to regular times. 👋🏻 The guide was a young guy, one of the two speleologists exploring the cave. His performance was excellent, his explanations very interesting for kids and adults. We've learnt a lot more about caves than in all larger and more beautiful caves. 👌🏻

General note, that the cave is COLD, so if you are particularly susceptible to the cold, you'll want to wrap up, even if it's warm outside.

Small cave in the middle of mountains, funny guide took us through with interesting and funny talking about cave. Before leaving we were offered shot of alcohol for us. Small gift shop with a nice range of souvenirs in the building as well. It took about 40 mins guided tour. Worth to visit, kids liked it

Visit of the cave was pleasant experience. Parking available just next to the entrance. Guide was great, motivated, able to explain also in english language.

Inexpensive tickets, totally worth the price. If you are going there during rainy weather, be prepared for lots of people and some troubles with parking and excursion times, otherwise the whole experience was amazing and beautiful with informative guides. It takes about 1 hour.

Very nice cave, with not-so-commercial way of guidance which makes the experience more enjoyable and interesting. The guide was very nice, with explanation about how the caves are formed and discovered, and many interesting facts / experience during the guide. The entry to the cave is very close to the road and it is a relatively short / easy walk in the cave.

We were thrilled by the guide who guided us through the cave. She was kind and funny. The headlights made more authentic atmosphere when you are walking around. Totally recommended.

Fun cave with a very enthusiastic tour guide. What's particularly fun is that there are no lights inside, so one must wear a torch light on the forehead.
