Hotel Strachanovka

Awesome place! I had no idea how beautiful room will be since I like rustic country decor. Food in the restaurant was very tasty, service beyond friendly. I'll definitely return next year. Liptovska Dolina is my favorite place to run away from the crazy world.

Very clean hotel. Modern and stylized. Amazing breakfast. Staff speaks English. Great location. Very decent restaurant for Slovakia traditional food.

The restaurant: Reasonsble prices, Liptov design, nice walk around, nice personnel and terrific food. We got bryndza halusky and they were rally good. Waiter was clothed in local kroj and was nice to us. The food arrived 5 minutes later!

Ottimo ristorante, un ambiente caldo ed accogliente, ma soprattutto… piatti eccezionali!

I fell in love with this restaurant: a typical mountain “chata” made with wood, with waiters dressed with traditional clothes, folk music playing in background and wonderful food.

Soups are very good, but pork meat with hot sauces and hot peppers is simply amazing!
Also, I was really impressed (in a very good way) by the quantity of food for this plate: me and my girlfriend shared one plate in two and we couldn’t finish everything.

I hope i will be eat again in this place, because it was a great experience and i would like try so many plates which looks so good.

Tasty Slovak national meals for good price they serve and drinks e.g. 0,5 liter kofola for only 1,50 Eu :) Worth to stop here

We only went to Koliba to eat - super delicious salad and also traditional Slovakian food and beer :)

Delicious traditional meals (with really huge servings), helpful staff and table tennis just besides the dining room.
