Castle Betliar (Estate Museum)

I was amazed at the detail and original condition of the castle's furnishings. with a tour guide in Hungarian approx. 1 hour to walk around the castle. This was my best experience visiting a castle, the environment is so detailed.

A luxurious castle with a well-preserved interior. The excursion was with a very pleasant guide. There are souvenir shops and cafes on site. Paid parking (€4/day) right next to the castle.

It was easy to find and the garden was beautiful, 10/10! Tha parking fee is 3Eur/day in a parking lot in front ot the castle. The entrance fee to the castle is 10eur/adults.

The most brilliant palace I've ever visited. The Hungarian guided tour was so excellent thanks to the lady who did it. Such a gem for any applied arts lover! The richness of the interior is unimaginable: the collection of items that it has is mind-blowing!

Very nice place to visit not only for history lovers! Castle as well as the park has a special atmosphere of the old times. Went for a tour 18/9/20 with a brilliant and enthusiastic guid who showed us rich and well preserved artifacts.

Beautiful old Slovakian heritage building you need to see when you are passing by. Some of the exponates are as old as 1500. In case you are in to old artefact, history and paintings you need to see this place.

This is TOP site of Gemer region, you must visit it, we always take our private day tours there. Been there many times, local guides are fantastic inside the chateau, very interesting history and beautiful interior!

Gorgeous castle with beautiful park and excellent guide

If you understand the language of the guide, the whole tour story is like a soap opera. Amazing story of the owners (Andrássy) and their life in that era. All rooms are well preserved and are full of amazing details.
Worth to see.

Very historical place full of paintings and art with live spirit of mansion where u can find so.many things from Andrasy family. Also do not forget to visit garden is very beautiful and full of unique trees and plants
