Penzión pri kaštieli Betliar

Nice location near the castle, clean rooms, kind English-speaking staff.

I stayed at the Penzion Pri Kastieli in Betliar, Slovakia last spring (2013) for 2 weeks. It is a beautiful place in a fantastic location beside the historic Castle in Betliar (right in the castle park!). It is also 5 kms or less from the town square of Roznava - the central town of the region and also steeped in history. The people at Penzion Pri Kastieli made me feel like a member of their family and completely at home. With a few Slovak words in my vocabulary, their more extensive English vocabulary and the TranslateAll app on my mobile phone, communication was always completely simple and fully understood. The food in their restaurant was fantastic with the menus written in Slovak, German, & English. They have full guest services available on sight including laundry and an exercise gym. I will go back again in spring 2014 and can hardly wait! Thank you all for a wonderful stay! Ďakujem pekne!

It's very close to manor house Betliar. Good size rooms and very nice place for family with kids. Manor house is closed on Mondays. Very cheap including TV and free Wi-Fi. Thanks.

Beautiful Castle and Museum. Rarely seen such a Rich collection in Slovakia

Nice and a huge are where you can walk around. Parking slot is about 2,5€

The best place to relax, have a good lunch or dinner and take a walk at the park of the castel of Andrassy.

Vyborne steaky! Restauracia s prijemnou obsluhou, nase jedla boli pripravene naozaj velmi rychlo. Steaky boli presne medium, makkucke, maso kvalitne. Taktiez cestoviny a bryndzove pirohy boli chutne. Odporucam!

Boli sme sa len najesť, výborné jedlo, parádna obsluha, prijateľná cena. Chcel som stiahnuť jednu hviezdičku za veľa múch, ale ostatné prednosti to tak nejak vylepšili, že som nechal najvyššie hodnotenie. Príjemné miesto.
