Chateau GrandCastle

It was very interesting and memorable stay. The owner purchased a ruined castle and turned it into a lovely hotel while preserving it.
Food quality at dinner and breakfast was good, but especially staffs and waiters were very welcoming and pleasant.
Worth staying there and definitely recommend.

I've been to the local town many times in my travels in Slovakia but finally got a chance to see inside this year when I booked a room for my parents to stay as a birthday gift and we were all blown away with how amazing the place is inside. It is really good that the renovation work is happening and the facilities for staying are really good.

The best hotel I have been to in Slovakia. Great restaurant, wellness and the place holds a wonderful castle atmosphere. The surroundings are well maintained with big garden. Parking available. I recommend the weekend packages.

If you're looking for a castle adventure as overnight stay in a unique environment, this is the perfect choice! There is an a la carte menu in the restaurant or, depending on your chosen options, also a three dish dinner included in your stay. The food is great and also worth a try if you're not staying in the hotel. The sanitary installations in the rooms are a nice compromise between functional and authentic to the place. The walls are not exactly soundproof between the rooms - adding to the adventurous flair of the experience. In the evening, you can stroll around the premises and explore the castle on your own. Across the street there is a path in the forest leading up to ancient lookout with a nice overview of the castle and the valley. Compared to other comparable locations in Europe the pricing is rather cheap, mostly due to its rather remote location, slightly removed from the touristic hotspots.

Amazing experience to stay here! The rooms are really beautiful, food is delicious and surroundings as well. We also appreciated a safe car park and a very nice and polite staff. Hopefully we will come back one day again! This hotel is something really special.

Very beautiful accommodation in historical castle. Every room is comfortable which has specific historical look. The local kitchen (food) is fantastic. The hotel has small but appropriate wellness with one whirlpool, small swimming pool, finnish sauna and rest zone.

The place is magical! This was our 2nd time staying and we definitely will be back. Staff is very friendly, service is great and food is really good. The castle has had rich history so definitely worth visiting!

Wonderful dinning place with history.

We spend almost a week here and loved our time. The atmosphere is stunning. Breakfast was good, staff very kind. And big compliments to the restaurant chef too.

This was a surprise birthday present for me and my partner. The spa was very nice, good food and wine in restaurant. And our suit was excellent. Great value.

This hotel was amazing. We were here on the off season so there was almost nobody staying here, but they made us feel so taken care of and appreciated.
The building itself was lovely and comfortable.

If you want to feel like a king or princess, this is the place t ostay (or have a party, wedding, celebration...). Close to Tatra Mountains - amazing for long weekend...
