This Old Cemetery is perched on a green slope in the midst of residential suburbia. Fadedly discerned paths draws one to a scene where nature seems to be inexorably reclaiming the earth with its encroaching foliage and gradual layers of seasonal tree sheddings. Weather and time ravaged toppling Hebrew inscribed gravestones give testimony to a historic Jewish presence in "Old Town Kosice".

I tried to visit in December 2022 but it is surrounded by high walls and locked gates so there is no easy access.

Locals told me it has been sold to a private buyer and access is forbidden.
