Hostel Happy Bull Kosice

The reception staff was really friendly and the location is excellent. The building is really cool and there's a super friendly atmosphere at the hostel. I met really nice people and we had a few great days in Kosice.

The hostel facilities were really clean too and I would definitely recommend this hostel.

i stayed here in april 2023, and it was such a different hostel experience than i’ve had other places. very cosy, homelike, and calm. was a bit difficult to find, but was overall one of my favorite hostels i’ve stayed in. would definitely recommend!!!

Mario was just perfect Host and gave me a room when the hotel was full.
He was very helpfull, friendly and understood my situation (a rental cancelled late on Airbnb).
The hotel is very close to city center... About 2 minutes walking.
I recommend the place 😊

The owners were really nice, the whole hostel has the authentic hostel feel. The beds are nice and have a lots of outlets available near the small desk. The shower was nice, and the outdoor sitting area aswell. You can order some food. Don't hesitate to ask for dinner in the evening as the owners are very kind and love to make it for you. You can only pay by cash but in the middle of the city center this is not a problem.

Many thanks to Mario and the two other employees at the hostel for two amazing nights at the hostel. Despite the hostel being very calm, they gave me a warm welcome. In my opinion the hostel is a hidden gem in the beautiful city of Kosice. The self-created garden was a nice spot to rest and read after exploring the city. Mario made me some delicious dumplings with sheep cheese the first night. Thanks again for the hospitality!!

This place is charming, warm and full of good memories. It's like entering into the museum of fun.

What use to be a hangout of good people who enjoy life just enough, is now a quiet little hostel with cutes dogs and a charming little garden. Well.. in late August.

Perfect for easy going people. If you are a whinny little precious prince or princess, don't go there, cause you'll ruin it.

Very kind people running this hostel + apartments. I was here in winter when the main hostel is closed but got a cozy room at a decent price. Now I got to try the hostel and it is equally wonderful! Thank you Mario and Vera.

Very cozy accomodation, i was warmly welcomed and enjoyed my stay in this well located hostel. The breakfast was superb and the hosts care a lot about sustainability, so all in all the perfect hostel.

Highly recommended hostel for a good quality of sleep and food! You must try the omelette! It is a very clean hostel and feels like home!! I spent there more than a month and it was super!

Extremely friendly staff and nice, clean rooms. I instantly trusted them and almost felt at home. It's location is also bombastic (about one minute to the center by foot).
It's all based on trust and if you have any problems or questions they're happy to help you.

Huge rooms for the price. The private room is the best deal I have ever seen... Eurotrip style. Bar is sadly closed until December, therefore zero social vibe at the hostel

Although I came here years ago, it stands out in my memory is a real, true hostel... Literally above a bar... The beds were skillfully crafted.

In 3 days my reaction went from horror to bemused to "I really like this place!" If you don't stay here you have missed something. Also the food is very good.
