Med Malina

An absolute gem of a dinner spot. Traditional vibe, lovely staff, great tunes and delicious dishes. We had the smoked Slovak cheese, potato dumplings, slow roasted pork knuckle and the highlight of the evening - Bogis, a cabbage dish. If only we could come again!

An exquisite slovak traditional restaurant that is cozy and tourist orientated makes pirohy (dumplings) in an extraordinary way. With 3 kind od fillings, onion and bacon just enough for the eye, semi-baked, makes a non-fatty delight for the taste and lust for the eye. My admiration for the chef.

We found this place while walking. We loved here. I suggest you their vegetable risotto, dumplings, polish cheesecake, sandwich with pear and goat cheese. Staff was friendly, prices are very reasonable. It’s on the most well-known street with good quality of food. We paid around 10€ per person.

Great little restaurant. Decor is very traditional not sure whether it is to attract the tourists but nevertheless food was delicious, menu is in English and waitresses speak English too. So all in all had a great time for a bargain price. Great location too so definitely recommending

Cute little restaurant in the city center with traditional Slovak meals and interior which showcases traditional Slovak style.

The staff was helpful and very friendly even during peak hours and when the restaurant was full.

The dishes are delicious. An excellent place of Slovak delicacies. The service is very fast and the staffs are highly courteous. Cozy place. Well decorated. Neat, clean, tidy.

Excellent quality restaurant and friendly staff. I got the pork tenderloin with grilled veggies and fries, and wife got the svieckova - both great and filling meals, and finishes with Lavazza decaf + ice cream.

Definitely recommend and would eat here again!

Good and bright place) I liked design) it looks like a Soviet Union and name is Med and Malian it are Russian words))) i recommend) staff speak English and Slovak) price is not cheap, but it is ok, because good kitchen and fast service)

Absolutely delicious melt in mouth food. Good price and service. Loved the Halushky for starters. Pork cheeks with mash n beetroot. For dessert had the cheese filled dumplings with raspberries... tot the real pieces of fruit in the cider was a nice touch. Do go for it in this cosy gem.

A very good restaurant in central Kosice. The place offers a variety of dishes from different kitchens, and large portions of every dish. It is not the cheapest place around, but the food is certainly worth every bite. Beside it the waitres were very nice and pleasent. Highly recommended!

I had a lunch here while on my one month central Europe trip. I ordered the farmer's pan and it was the best dish I ate during the whole trip!

I’m absolutely obsessed with their bryndzové halušky. It’s my third time here. Whenever I get to come to Kosice, I come to this restaurant to eat halušky. It’s soo good. It’s insane.

If in the area, this restaurant is a must!
Good food, welcoming and capable personnel.
Beer they serve probably not the best in Slovakia... But the food and deserts are making up for it 😊

I lived in kosice for 3 months and come back about once oer year for work. Im really upset i did not come here sooner. Very cozy atmosphere and excellent food.

The restaurant is furnitured well. It's clean there, the waitress was very kind to us also speaking polish very well. You get a free snack to every order.

Halusky tasted very good. I recommend this place.
