Great food and good service. Had no chance to see the rooms, though. We were placed in another building, a couple hundred meters away.

An absolutely amazing place to stay.

From the first phone call (we were looking to check in late) the staff was super friendly and proacrively problem-solving, making us feel welcome before we even arrived. The rooms are simple yet beautifully designed and for us even the beds were ideally soft.
The staff was very friendly till the very last moment, the location itself is amazing too, and the nature is astonishing. We were here in the beginning of december, and the snow just melted our hearts... definitely recommend 10/10! :)

Amazing place to stay for a few days.

We arrived in the evening, just in time to catch a hearty dinner.

We were checked in and served by the owner’s son, who would have liked to be anywhere else, but here. The rest of the family was lovely and I honestly can’t say anything bad about this place.

After dinner we migrated to the terrace for a very cool august evening. When we started our trip, the weather was sweltering hot, but in this valley the air was cool and a light rain crowned the evening as the sun went down.

The surrounding nature is unlike anything I thought I’d see in Eastern Europe. Beautiful green hills and tight canyons to hike in.

Would recommend!

First of all, a huge thank you to the staff that opened the hotel after check-in time, they were also very friendly and helpful. Second, the room was cozy and tidy, with a huge balcony and view. We didn't have a chance to eat our breakfast but no doubt it was delicious! They said they could adapt it to our dietary habits. Next time we visit Štefanová we will of course stay here again.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel. Rooms are very nice and clean. We came with two children and they happily offered an extra bed for the children. The atmosphere is amazing and the views from here are absolutely extraordinary. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a nice place to stay with beautiful surroundings. Very good price as well. No shops nearby though, 4.5 km away is the town center. We are 100% coming back here in the summer!!!

wow wonderful, lovely and cozy place. very kind personal, talkative and nice. whole place is decorated by paintings and art from slovak artist (sorry i forgot the name). as amateur painter i appretiated this a lot - very lovely "child book stlye" illustrations that hug your soul.
the place is near tourist paths so you dont need to travel far to go for a hike. if you go here, Rozsutec mountain is must go!

Świetny pensjonat! Obiekt jest zlokalizowany w samym sercu Małej Fatry i stanowi genialny punkt wypadowy na Diery, Rozsutce czy Stoha. Štefanova to mała przytulna wioska ze znikomym ruchem samochodowym. Z tarasu bardzo ładny widok na góry. Sam pensjonat jest bardzo zadbany, schludny i spójny stylowo. Na miejscu jest możliwość napicia się piwa z kufla, wina i nie tylko. Z tego co widziałem obsługa w godzinach wieczornych może nawet przygotować posiłki dla gości. Można dokupić śniadania, są one dosyć podstawowe. Miejsce godne polecenia 👍

Super lokalizacja przy samym żółtym szlaku. Widok na Velki Rosutec i Południowe Skały. Pokoj mały ale przytulny z wielkim tarasem. Bardzo pomocna i przyjazna obsługa. Rodzinna atmosfera. Bardzo dobre posiłku obiadowe. Śniadania dobrej jakości oraz urozmaicone. Wyśmienite lokalne piwo. Gwarantowane codzienne pobudki przez koguta 😊😊 Na pewno tam wrócę

Bardzo klimatyczne miejsce. Sympatyczny personel. Super lokalizacja - bezposrednio na szlaku. Pyszne śniadania. Budynek i pokoje mają swoje lata ale niczego nie brakuje i jest bardzo czysto. Polecam

Krásný útulný , čistý penzion. Pani majitelka a pan majitel jsou moc příjemní lidé. S ničím nebyl problém. Velmi ochotní oba dva. Výborné jídlo a krásné klidné místo. Bylo to tu skvělé. Doporučujeme!!!!😊

Veľmi príjemný penzión s priateľským personálom. Odporúčam, ak viete oceniť rodinnú atmosféru a preferujete pokojné prostredie. Poskytované služby sú na vysokej úrovni - naviac s úsmevom a ochotou. Ochutnali sme varené líčka a k tomu orosený pohár Vrškov (tunajšie pivo) a bolo to dokonalé :). Raňajky nás milo prekvapili svojou pestrosťou - naozaj široký výber teplých aj studených dobrôt, čerstvá zelenia a pečivo, domáce jogurty, koláčiky a hladní neodišli ani vegetariáni. Kvalitné espresso vyzeralo, voňalo a chutilo na 1*. Radi by sme si návštevu zopakovali :).
