The place, view, localisation are perfect. Great spot to start your journey to many fantastic locations. Excellent beer, and solid and affordable meals. However showers need some investments. 😉

Cozy mountain hut with delicious slovak food. The staff is friendly and helpful. The views amazing. There are drying facilities for clothes and shoes. The bunk beds are comfi and sheets crispy clean. Tip top for your stay while exploring the mountains

Great place to stop by and get some rest, either before or after the climb or descent from Poludnovy Grun - the hill is really horrible.
So get some rest and refreshment behore it (or after).

Great people, great beer, great service

We have been there for 5 days in August. It is a really great place in the heart of Mala Fatra mountains. It is the perfect spot to explore the mountains around by hiking. We enjoyed the sun rise and the sun set as well as to be up on the mountains in the morning.
The Chata itself is touristic comfort with good food and great beer and friendly hosts. So we did really enjoy our time - even the one rainy day.

It is a great cottage in Mala Fatra - Vratna. It is great for skiing in winter and for hiking in sommer. From the parking place it is a 45 to 60 minutes hiking trip to the cottage. Tje accommodation is a raw but its good for a mountain cottage. You have bank beds in every room. The toilets and shower are not so great but they are survivable. The restaurant is good. Best part is in the night when there is darkness and no sound nor light. And the morning there are also beautifull. You can sit outside and and have one of the worst coffee in you life but the view is magnificent. I love it there. I was there 3 times. It is great also when it rains.

Great beautiful place all year. In winter nice place to ski up there and in summer you can have a rest through beautiful nature walk. People there are very kind.

After the perilous journey down the mountain the beer I've got here gave me the strenght to reach the car. A true traveler's respite.
