A very nice mosque. It cannot be understood from the outside, but only after entering from the inside, its true meaning can be understood. It is a mosque made of stone and wood. It is a beautiful place to offer namaz although the place is small. Pigeons are always seen outside this mosque during the day. It is right next to the Gamma Mosque. Likewise Eid al-Nababi is located in front of the outer gate.

The Abu Bakr Siddique Mosque is a small, but historically significant mosque located in Medina, Saudi Arabia. It is believed to be the site of the first house that the first caliph of Islam, Abu Bakr, built after the Hijrah (migration) to Medina. The mosque was originally built with mudbricks, but it has been renovated several times over the centuries. The current structure dates back to the Ottoman period in the 19th century.

The mosque is a simple, single-domed structure with a rectangular courtyard. The interior is decorated with white marble and the walls are adorned with Quranic verses. The mosque is open to the public and is a popular destination for pilgrims and tourists.

Here are some of the things that make the Abu Bakr Siddique Mosque a worthwhile visit:

Historical significance: The mosque is believed to be the site of the first house that Abu Bakr built after the Hijrah. This makes it a very important place for Muslims, as it is a reminder of the early days of Islam.

Simple beauty: The mosque is a simple, yet beautiful structure. The white marble interior and the Quranic verses on the walls create a serene and spiritual atmosphere.

Peaceful location: The mosque is located in a quiet part of Medina, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. This makes it a great place to relax and reflect.

If you are visiting Medina, I would definitely recommend visiting the Abu Bakr Siddique Mosque. It is a small, but significant mosque that is sure to leave a lasting impression.

Here are some tips for visiting the mosque:

Dress modestly: The mosque is a place of worship, so it is important to dress modestly. This means covering your shoulders and knees.

Remove your shoes: Shoes are not allowed inside the mosque, so you will need to remove them before entering.

Be respectful: The mosque is a holy place, so it is important to be respectful of the other worshippers. This means speaking quietly and avoiding making any noise that could disturb them.

I hope this helps!

Historical sites in Medina, Masjid Al Ghamamah and Masjid Saidina Abu Bakar are located near to each other. Sometimes people confuse the two. To differentiate them, Masjid Al Ghamamah has many domes while Masjid Saidina Abu Bakar is much smaller and has only one dome. Unfortunately it is not known if the mosque is ever open for public.

Masjid Saidina Abu Bakar was built on the site that used to be his house. The area is located southwest of the Prophet's Mosque and a short walk away from the Holy Quran exhibition.

The area surrounding the two masjids has been into a park with benches. Good for picnicking with family.

Beautiful Mosque, Situated near #MasjidNabwi
It was rebuilt again during the reign of the Ottoman Sultan Abd Al-Majid I. The #Abu Bakr #Al-Siddeeq #Mosque is 15 meters to the southwest of Salman Al-Farisi #Mosque. It was reported that Abu Bakr, when he was caliph, prayed Eid prayer there. This is why it was named after him.

It’s right outside of gate number 6 of Al Haram. This mosque is closed for praying probably to prevent any further damage. Must see. I think this is where Abu Bakr Sadeeq RA lived, not completely sure but double check.

Masjid was open for public after Maghrib prayer. You can still witness the old bricks and infrastructure from the inside.
