-Sajadah Mosque (Arabic: مسجد السجدة), also known as Asy-Syukr Mosque or Abi Dzar Mosque, is a mosque located 900 meters north of Al-Masjid an-Nabawi in Medina, Saudi Arabia. The mosque is called "As-Sajadah" meaning "the prostration" because of an account of the Islamic prophet Muhammad prostrating here after hearing a good news from Gabriel regarding salawat. Today, it is better known as Abi Dzar Mosque because it is on Abi Dzar street. It has been renovated and expanded in 2000.

Masjid Abuzar Ghifari is situated 900m north of Masjid-e-Nabwi and is also known as Masjid Sajdah after a hugely auspicious incident that occurred here with the Prophet (ﷺ).

It has been reported by Abdur Rahman bin Auf (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) came to a garden of the Baitul-Maal (treasury) and offered salah, then went in to a (lengthy) prostration. I said to the Prophet (ﷺ): “Oh Prophet of Allah, you prostrated (for so long) that I feared that Allah may have taken your soul”. The Prophet (ﷺ) said:“Jibraeel came with a message from Allah; ‘He who sends salutations and peace upon you, I shall send mercy and blessings upon him.’ I prostrated in gratitude of this bounty of Allah.”

Small masjid, Masjid al Sajda also known as Masjid Abi Zar Ghaffari as it is located on the Abi Zar Ghaffari Road, near to Masjid Al Haram (next to Saptco bus station), towards Haram. Average walking distance is around 10 mins from the side of 26 No. Gate of Masjid Al Haram. Better to use the underground passage, to cross the double road, specially built for crossing to/ from Haram.

Masjid Abu Dharrul Gifari is built on the same place in Madinah City of Saudi Arabia where Nabi e Aakhir uz Zaman Hazrat Muhammad e Mustufa SAW (PBUH) was crying in prayers while in Sujood and asking the mercy on his Ummah by not putting any Azzab or face changings by Allah SWT in any case so he PBUH prolonged his sujud till Gabriel came n give him PBUH the news by Allah SWT that the duas are accepted by Allah SWT so.please come out by Sujud. Subhan Allah. What an amazing palce to pay Nawafil e Shukrana so I paid it today n felt so lucky to myself.

ABUDHARR GHIFFARI Masjid (رضی الله عنہ) in Madinah is on the northern side of Masjid Nabwi.

Another name for this Masjid is “As Sajdah” for it has been reported by Abdul Rahman ibn Auf (رضی الله عنہ) that, while sleeping Prophet ﷺ suddenly went through Baqee Muttasarah gate, reached a place and I also followed him.

Prophet ﷺ made wodhu prayed 2 Rakah and did Sajdah (prostrated) for a long period of time there, after lifting his head on seeing me, gave the glad tidings that Gabriel ( عَلْيْهِ السَّلَامُ ) came with a message from Allaah: “Whosever sends Darood and Salaam (peace and blessings) upon you, then Allaah shall shower his mercy upon such a person”. As appreciation for this bounty, I made long Sajdah to Allaah.

This place has witnessed a long prostration by Holy Prophet SAW after he was informed that whoever send salaam to the Prophet Allah will add 10 good deeds and will forgive 10 bad deeds for just one single salaam.
