If you are looking for a great fish restaurant in Belgrade this is the place. The service was impeccable and you won't meet a better host. Friendly, relaxed atmosphere in a lovely venue. Food was excellent and the live music was a bonus! Had a really enjoyable meal and great evening. Highly recommended

Ribar u Beogradu is a refined restaurant offering an authentic Adriatic seafood experience in central Belgrade. The interior has a nautical theme, with a calm atmosphere and soft music. Curious about the claim of 'authentic Adriatic experience,' I was not disappointed. The fish, fresh from Boka Kotorska, is presented to you before cooking, so you can choose exactly what you want.
While waiting for the main dish, they serve a delicious fish pate and homemade bread.
The white fish soup was light but flavorful, and the Brancin (European seabass) was cooked to perfection, served with Swiss chard. We tried Žilavka wine but settled on Istrian Malvasia, which paired beautifully with the meal. To finish, the fruity dessert was a sweet reminder of home. This restaurant nails it with its authentic and high-quality Adriatic offerings, justifying its price for the experience and culinary excellence.

Extremely Delicious, highly recommended place mostly for fish, and not only.

A place where you can find one of the most fresh fish, A really quality homemade alcohol and a lovely atmosphere combined with the best service.

The Service is excellent, specially when PEDJA is in the house. A real professional of his job. Can help even the most demanding customers.

Last but not least, you can not dismiss the great job of the manager “Ljubiša Music” who is the most precious person of the house to make you feel the hospitality of the place which doesn’t make any difference than being and feeling comfortable as you are located at your own house.

This place is a hidden paradise in the center of this city. Has absolutely wonderful vibe. Music is amazing!!! And love the decoration, seafood and service !!! Nicest staff and wine as well. Please if you are near the place, pay a visit, you won’t be disappointe😘😘😘

It’s hard to find a seafood restaurant in Belgrade. Ribar is definitely worth a visit if you want to have decent seafood in Belgrade. The service is also great. Highly recommend the red fish soup.

One of the best Adriatic fish tartars I have ever tried....asked Cheff to come out afterwards and share the recipe with us. Will be coming back for that one again for sure. Great service and excellent wine proposition from our waiter Pedja. Great hospitality on behalf of the entire staff along with restaurant supervisor . Will be visiting again.

As you may know)) there are a only a few fish places in Belgrade, I tried to find all I could and I guess it is The best. It's quite expensive but it's worth it definitely. Excellent service (thanks again for advises and chat, Rade!), kitchen, wines choice. Will come again and recommend.

The best restaurant in Belgrade! Super tasty food, exceptional service and very cool atmosphere. It is quiet and there is no annoying loud music, so it is perfect for talking. I absolutely loved fish soup, ribar plate and white fish spread. Will definitely come again!

My friend and I were at Ribar u Beogradu for dinner yesterday evening. Our first dining experience in Belgrade and we were amazed with the high level of service and the food offered. Jovana is an exceptional host ❤🙏🏼😎. The romb (brill) fish was amazing, so were the starters with fish pate and softest fresh bread. The restaurant is immaculate and with beautiful decor. We will come back for sure. Highly recommended!!!

The restaurant is situated in a quiet corner of the city, offering great intimacy. The interior of it is very gorgeous with paintings and lights. The staff were really helpful and gave us good recommendations for food. We got a fish soup, shells and grilled fish. For drink it was white wine and they gave us a cinnamon apple tart as dessert for free! The food was an absolute bomb. The soup tasted fresh and appetizing. The shells were just perfectly done. And the highlight was the definitely the grilled fish. I usually avoid fish as I am not a fan of fish bones and the fishy taste. However, the waiter deboned the fish nicely for us. The fish had no unpleasant taste at all and I finished the whole fish before I knew it. All in all, we had a great dining experience and would certainly recommend you to try it out. You won’t regret it.

Wonderful quiet place, if you are looking for a place to have talks without loud noises or music. Food was very good, nice green terrace, thoughtful service, good wine choice. For us it was a perfect Friday night calm experience we were looking for. a bit pricey, but it was worth it.
