It is a must visit destination in Belgrade. It has a rather large variety of animals and birds, in a relatively compact area. That means you will not spend hours walking long distances. Belgrade Zoo is definitely a spectacular attraction for children.

A very well maintained zoo. We loved this walk on the bank holiday after New Year's Eve, lots to see, the animals looked good and were in good condition, most places don't look after them like that. I encourage people to take their kids there, even if you are a tourist or a local - go! Thank you!

I had an amazing time at the Belgrade zoo! The variety of animals was impressive, and their habitats were well-designed. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The zoo's commitment to conservation was evident, and the facilities were clean and easy to navigate. Highly recommended!

Really nice place to visit with a closest eye-contact with animals. Despite of small size of the park, the location and animal diversity is really unexpected. Wonderful experience. It’s a first place where I saw honey badger, mongoose, white wolf and three types of bear in a same place! Highly recommended!

It's a nice zoo, it seems small on the map, but it's actually big and there's a lot to see. It would take two or three hours to see everyone for sure. Most of the animals are very close and some birds walk right through the park itself. I love it! I just wish the big cats were fed more often as they are very, very skinny.

Loved this zoo! Had the opportunity to see a large variety of animals that normally I would never see! Went early in the morning and all cages were added food and being cleaned! Had a wonderful time here!

Very interesting place! Lots of different animals. There are areas for children to play. You can spend more than three hours inside. I definitely recommend to visit the zoo park.

Much better than I remember it! The habitats are bigger and some animals like bears have much more space. Also there are new species of birds and they are rebuilding the reptile house. Can't wait to visit again!

Beautiful zoo, very well taken care of! Nice and quiet place even thoe there are animals and city traffic. There are few coffee shops if you get tired and thirsty. Love it and recommend it.

Amazing place to visit with family and kids. A lot of animals and very clean and neat place. There is place with popcorn or icecream so you can buy inside and sit and enjoy. Also there is coffee shop where you can take or sit and drink your coffee. Expect to enjoy and be there at least 2.5 hours.

Belgrade Zoo, also known as the Garden of Good Hope, is located within the Belgrade Fortress, more precisely in Mali Kalemegdan.

Today, the zoo covers about 7 hectares and has around 2,000 animals. With more than 400,000 visitors a year, Belgrade Zoo is also one of the most visited attractions in Belgrade.

Very nice to see all those animals, my favorites were the swans and their habitat, but sadly the section with reptiles was under renovation.

I found this to be a very entertaining place to visit while in Belgrade. There were plenty of animals to see, even though it is located inside a city, and it appears to be small from the outside. There were a lot more animals, birds, and reptiles here compared to my own national zoo in Dublin. 👍😊 It was also very cheap to enter, which I think cost me 500 dinars as an adult. There is also WiFi and a souvenir shop located at the entrance. But I also heard recently that the zoo is being relocated to another area in the near future, to make way for apartment blocks. 😕

Great zoo with many different animals. Very well kept as well, and the animals seem to have decent space to move around, considering it is a city zoo. It was not very crowded when we were there, so it was easy to move around. The prices are also reasonable, and there is also a souvenir shop located at the entrance. Can definitly recommend as a must visit when in Belgrade.

One of the nicest zoos I've seen. Been there with the family, and the kids didn't want to leave. They have there many animals and of different types, some are even rare, such as the white tiger and a special kind of African's lion, which looks like a lion who had a hair fan :-D
They also have a baby hippo which is super cute. The entrance fee is 550 dinars (~5 Euro) for adult and 350 dinars (~3 Euro) for child, which is not expensive at all.
To sum it up, very recommended.

Went on a cute date with my boyfriend. It was fun. I'd recommend only that you bring more money with you because of the prices at the zoo(popcorn/drinks/toys) but overall it was an amazing experience.

Beautiful place for kids. Cheaper ticket price. Neat and clean, animals look in better condition than a lot of other places seen or explored.

A petting farm is something to explore, many midget goats, alpacas petting and feeding options.

I love zoo, love animals, my kids loved it, didnt get to see all animals but we saw those 'most important'. Zoo was much cleaner than last time i visited it, and that makes me happy. All in all, great experience, as expected.
