Fantastic food, great cocktails & fantastic service - Milan was very polite & professional. Lovely view of the Sava 👌. Definitely our favourite restaurant in Belgrade (which is a very tough call to make).... it never disappoints! Keep up the great work 👍 👏

Amazing food, great service. Milan was taking care of us and he did amazing job. He was friendly, polite yet professional. Other employees were attentive as well but we did not get their names. They recommended food pairing with the wine and it worked very well. Food tastes great (we were tourist and got recommended by a local to come here). This restaurant did not disappoint us even a bit. Definitely will come back

We had dinner with a group of 7, and all had the special tasting menu. This includes many typical Serbian dishes that come through at tapas-style speed. We had a crazy fast and amiable waiter at our side all the time, and before I could blink my eyes, the wine glasses filled up again. This restaurant was recommended by our taxi driver (not sure if he had shares in the restaurant, haha), but we didn't regret following his advice.

Great modern take on traditional food. Very tasty and interesting food. Location is next to the river, there are heaters in the garden in case of a colder day. Service is great and friendly, especially Milan who was serving us for the day. Cheers, can recommend!

Second time at this restaurant and again it was amazing. This time we tried the degustation menu and it was worth every euro. The atmosphere was really cozy, nice and romantic with good music, waiters are relaxed in a good way. We recommend to spend one evening at this place!

It was such a nice and interesting place to visit. The menu concept was interesting, and due to the quantity of the dishes, it is possible to try more than one dish. The prices are a bit on the higher side, so I suggest that, if you're visiting with friends, to try 'unlimited degustation menu'. The service was really nice, and the food was amazing.

Great location with amazing food experience and super staff - Nikola. Everything was super tasty and well presented. Local food with just enough twist to make your meal unforgetable. Definetly take your time and enjoy the full tasting menu.

Balkan food with a cosmopolitan twist, served in a buzzy, laidback venue with a great view of sunset. All the dishes are designed for sharing, and served gradually as they are ready. The place is so huge that it must be relatively likely that you'll get a table without reserving.

Ambar was a fun start to the night. The only thing to keep in mind is how expensive it is - prices are on par with any western European capital city and therefore triple what you could pay for similar cuisine is less trendy places around Belgrade.

Amazing food, especially Gibanica which you must wait for 20 minutes but it is definitely worth the wait. Service is also amazing, friendly and polite. Definitely worth a visit and try the famous brunch

Honestly best “garlic” bread I hace ever eaten!!!! You cannot skip trying the stuffed bread! Our waiter Njegos was so nice and gave us great recommendations and tips as to what to order! This place is a must!🤩

The food and ambiance in Ambar was amazing. We had a delicious lunch/dinner for three with some wine and cocktails and had an enjoyable time. The service provided by Milan was professional and polite, simply amazing. I would definitely recommend Ambar to everyone.

Absolutely amazing place to go if you visit Belgrade! We were served by Milan and his customers service was beyond expectations! We has very chatty and friendly, he suggested some great dishes and he made us feel like home! I would definitely come back!! Milan deserves a raise!

What a great restaurant. I have been to Ambar Clarendon in the USA as well. While that's a fine restaurant, it's a very Americanized Balkan food experience. Ambar Belgrade is newer and the food was more authentic.

Fabulous dinner! The Balkan tasting menu was endless (with the option of repeating any dishes you like!) and very tasty. The cocktails were also very delicious. The atmosphere was thoroughly enjoyable, with beautiful views of the river and especially lovely to experience over sunset. The waiter, Milos, was very helpful and friendly and explained what every single dish was. Would definitely recommend either as a group or as a couple!
