People who love seafood should not miss this place. It should be a must on their list while in Belgrade. Although Belgrade ia not close to seaside, the quality of food there is exceptional and fresh at all times. They play on quality and it is definitely worth it.

Extraordinary fish delicacy. You can ask for regular grilled fish and that will be excellent but you can ask for a chef specialties to be delivered in a few platers and your senses will be awakened to the full. Seems like a small bites but at some point you need to ask waiters to stop bring the new food as there will be no more stomach space!
One of the hidden Belgrade gems! If you are up for drinks afterwards stop by in a bar down the street Uprava 1926 for a good cocktail!

Amazing kitchen, all was soooo good. Honestly, I don't remember having eaten such good fish and seafood in many years. this restaurant is an unexpected discovery. The wine cellar and its choice are just magnificent

Tata Mata is a high-end Mediterranean cuisine restaurant. It's located in a quiet neighborhood away from the ciry's traffic noise. It's hospitality and service and culinary specialties overcome most of places in its price range.

Pros:
Amazing restaurant.
As a fussy eater, I must say I enjoyed every meal served us.
We had the warm Grilled Prawns and chicken breast with crispy skin for starter then had the 3kg seabass with vegetables and baked potatoes with risotto dishes for main course.

Absolutely loved it.

Con:
As a tourist, I did find the indoor smoking a bit uncomfortable even though we sat in the non smoking 🚭 section of the restaurant. You'd still get to inhale smoke from the smoking area as its all in same building.

Amazing restaurant and amazing food. For tuesday night it was quite empty, which made it even better. Prawn tartar and octopus were amazing.

Excellent restaurant in Belgrade

Great choice for a fresh sea food in Belgrade. Prices are moderate and stuff is great with excelent advices.

A little bit expensive but very good

High quality food with attention to detail. The was seafood was fresh and memorable for our group of 4. It was raining unfortunately but they had a beautiful outside terrace. The two rooms inside , 1 smoking and 1 non with about 4-5 tables in each.

This is house turned restaurant is cozy, especially with the owner visiting each table.

This place is AMAZING. Extensive wine list with regional and local delights, Seafood-focused menu with inventive takes on traditional recipes and ingredients (mostly) from nearby. Our waiter was up front and honest about what was wild caught, farmed, or frozen. The special was a type of razor clam, which we ordered grilled. They were fresh, simple, and delicious. They brought out a small bottle of nice Istrian olive oil for us to try with the clams and our bread and it was so good: fresh and bracingly strong. We ordered monkfish and a lobster pasta for our mains, and they continued to delight. The monkfish especially was very fresh tasting and perfectly prepared. This place is for sure fancier (bordering on fine dining), but feels cozy and casual.

If you would like to eat real Dalmatian food I suggest Tata-Mata. Kind personal, pleasent and home atmosphere inside and nice garden. Good choise of fishes. We ate griled octopus, it was delicious.

Everything was just excellent. We had tuna tartar, some clams, squid and one big fish. Everything was fresh and delicious. Compared to other fish restaurants very reasonably priced. Will go again.

The best offer of fresh fish in town. Exceptional ambience and food and beverage service. For hedonists, and people who enjoy both food and wine.

This place has unique touch. It is placed in an old Belfrade Villa with carefully chosen peaces of furniture to contribute to cosy atmosphere. Selection of food, basically it is fish restaurant, is fantastic with Chef's unique approach to combination of ingredients to make a fantastic rhapsody that will touch all of your senses. Absolut must to visit!
