Absolutely great of Serbia food choice and quality! Exceptional cheese and meat dishes! Must visit !

One of the best restaurants in Belgrade, with modern and traditional Serbian cuisine. Although we arrived late we were welcomed and promptly seated. From starters to dessert, the food was appetizing and delicious and waiters were very friendly and attentive. The whole atmosphere was completed by a pleasant piano music.

Although all tables were occupied, we were promptly served. It was rather interesting to watch waiters rush, at moments even run, to assure that their guests didn’t have to wait long. It was also nice to see them help each other, great team work - probably overall the best service in the restaurant business I experienced.
Appetizers arrived as soon as we were seated, together with four kinds of bread. Our food was delicious, veal soup was perfect, and our main dishes were plentiful and all the food was tasty.
It is certain that they will see us again soon.

Restaurant Careva Ćuprija is literally one of Belgrade's monuments you have to experience. As an ethno-food restaurant dedicated to a long Serbian tradition, it is one of the best restaurants around. The food is simply great and delicious, while their prices are more than fair considering the food origin and quality. The atmosphere is amazing - you are being served at the 19th century restaurant (mentioned for the first time back in 1847) and you will experience beautiful "kafana" style live music as well (note: musicians will approach your table if you invite them, so please make sure to tip them for each song you may request them to play for you and your party). Service is great and extremely accommodating, these guys are something special, really - the OG waiters, Belgrade style, they will make you laugh and feel great!

I have been there several times. One of the best Serbian restaurant in Belgrade. Traditional Serbian cuisine. Excellent, very tasty food (barbecue, squid, octopus etc). Very large portions.

One of the "good old" Belgrade restaurants, with a tradition of excellent food and great service. Located near horse race tracks, in a quiet neighbourhood, it offers wonderful meals at reasonable prices. Recommended!

It's one of our favourite restaurant's in Belgrad and this since years. Excellent service with excellent food.

An amazing place to be in Belgrad. If i have to cut a long story short i would say that : "A professional typical dinner turned to a family one!". Reasons: The warm atmosphere , the live traditional music , the excellent wines and the fresh dishes. Excellent. Try it.

Very nice restaurant with traditional Serbian food.

I haven't been here for a looong time, but they lost nothing of their charm and professionalism.

A good friend of mine, Nesa Hilandarac (a guy with a half of century experience in visiting restaurants) would call this an "old school". This means that a guest is an always welcomed friend, always noticed, and always served just the way (any) guest expects to be. They do their best to read people, adopt to customers' mood, and serve great food exactly when it is the right time to start consuming it.

Since this is the place where you would soon feel comfortable and relax, and you might easily forget about the food, order another drink, and enjoy the live orchestra performance...

And drink choice is just as great as food one - including truly domestic / house made plum brandy, wine, and etc...

The only thing that was not that perfect, was grilled fish: I understand that almost every place sells the same white lie, but I really wish these guys did not. An iron plate DOES give great results (which they did achieve), but I particularly asked about the grill/charcoal - which surely is a different thing...
If any of you has doubts about the difference - wait until you find a place where a good cook has access to real grill - and you will reach the next level!

Make sure to taste sweets: they have many kinds, from traditional to modern ones, some really light and great match to heavy, greasy meals that you might have before them.

We were taken by family to this beautiful restaurant with such an interesting old history. The evening was super enjoyable with waiters that were friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and a local band added to the ambience of the whole experience. I highly recommend a visit to this prestigious establishment.

This is a world class restaurant nestled in an out-of-the way part of Belgrade that is definitely worth finding. The food is out of this world. If you want the real Serbian food experience a visit to Careva Cuprija is a must. Service is brilliant: discrete and classy. Do not miss out on tasting great Serbian wines as well as the traditional "Sljivovica" plum brandy. Another extraordinary thing about this place is their dessert menu: it leaves no one indifferent. I highly recommend it and can't wait to travel to Belgrade to visit it again.

Excellent service, excellent food, specialist in "fast business food" in Belgrade. Whenever I have necessity for good and fast lunch this is my first choice (in past 15 years). If I have domestic or foreign guests, Careva Ćuprija is choice. I strongly recommend this restaurant for everyone. Either you like traditional Serbian cuisine, or you want fasting menu, or vegetarian- no problem, they have each option in offer.

Firstly plenty of car park which is supervised by security.. there is a choice of indoors or outdoors seating area..plenty of space for privacy..beautiful premises and beautiful food accompanied with excellent service.. well done.

Superb dishes, one of the best hearty dining venues in Belgrade with variety of tasty dishes on the menu! And service with a smile! Keep coming back over the years for a quality meal!
