I went there to get a films programme and tickets later. Some Serbian old films are shown there and I will send here some posters old and new made by students, fantastic. I was delighted! And also different films are shown at the terrace of Dom Vojske in Francuska street in cooperation. I was refreshed.

If you are addicted to oldies, check out Yugoslav Film Archieve. 🙂 They have one of the biggest archieves in Europe and great movie programs literally every day. Definitely one of my favourite places in Belgrade.

Jugoslovenska kinoteka is quite unique environment for movie-goers. It was founded in 1949 and collect thousands of movies, both produced in Yugoslavia and internationally. Usually old movies are on schedule here, their website is updated with new info about the upcoming movies, and particularly this one has marvelous interior design. From the moment you get into the building, city noise becomes history, and another dimension awaits you - movies without popcorn or other unnecessary distractions.

Beautiful cinema that shows classic movies: Serbian, Italian, French, British, Greek, Spanish as well as American. Nice theatre, symbolic ticket price (200 dinars). All the movies are subtitled, with no voice-over.

Đy father told me, when he was young there was a place of movie artists for true-story movies, amateur movie category and most he liked weren the classics. It was a small projection hall. Museum for cinema accomplishes. Now it exists in Usun Mirkova street as a big, big modern bilding, almost to be proud of. Lot of money given, beautiful, but the government people use it for their show-of. Also, there are two projection halls, with program for summer. Go there, recomended!

Located in the city center this place offers a great selection of movies that you won't be able to watch anywhere else, hosts national and international movie festivals and various cultural events worth checking out. The interior itself is absolutely beautiful with temporary and permanent exhibitions free of charge.

The best cinema in the city. Old movies, good program, very good facebook page where you can be informed about upcoming movies. New hall is more than comfortable. One of the monuments of the urban Belgrade.

archive library and reading room. you will primarily have to speak to the librarian and they will have to get the books for you. material is ordered chronologically by the time of purchase by the library so browsing topics doesn’t work so well, however you can ask the librarian to search for keywords in the digital catalogue. broad range of film books, from tarkovsky’s diaries to year reports on specific countries’ independent films.

As old Kinoteka hall, this is one of the very few real cinemas in Blegrade that remain cinemas, not the shopping mall nacios and coke circuses. You can watch great moves here from old clasics to the documentary and not comercial hits. This cinema takes place on mostly all documentary movie festivals that are organized in Belgrade. New hall and building itself are very nice. It is placwd in the hurt of Belgrade.
