Mercure Belgrade Excelsior

This is a beautiful hotel, near to most attractions. Easy walk to the Waterfront and shopping mall. Lots of very nice restaurants around.
The privilege room was really nice and clean. Love the old staircase.
The best thing of all is the staff. They were on hand when you enter or leave the hotel, ready to help. Nothing is too much trouble. They go the extra mile and provide excellent service whether at reception or bar/ restaurant. Thank you.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mercure Belgrade Excelsior, and I must say, although as I Diamond member I usually stay over 180 days per year in hotels, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I have called to arrange some details regarding my reservation, asking about recommendations, I was in awe. That was just confirmed by the fact, that when I stepped into the lobby, the atmosphere was inviting, and the attention to detail was evident.

The receptionists at Mercure Belgrade Excelsior are truly exceptional. Their warmth and professionalism made check-in a breeze, and they went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. When I had questions about local attractions, recommendations for food, sightseeing they were ready to help with a smile and truly cared.

The rooms were immaculate and well-appointed, spacious. The hotel's central location allowed for easy exploration of the city, and the stunning views from my room added an extra layer of delight to my stay.

The attention to cleanliness and safety measures in the current environment was also reassuring.

I must commend the entire staff for their dedication to providing exceptional service. It's clear that the team at Mercure Belgrade Excelsior takes pride in creating a welcoming and memorable experience for their guests.

I have stayed in many Mercure hotels but this was the best stay. The room is spacious and clean. All the staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was superb. All I can say that since long time it was the best accommodation and this was because the team made this stay remarkable! Thank you!

The room was clean and comfortable, stayed for 3 nights in a twin room. Fantastic location within walkable distance to many attractions like old town, city hall, main pedestrian street, museums, restaurants, bars...
Very clean, spacious room at an appropriate value, this one was facing a street, a park, Parliament, during the day a bit busy and noisy but we were not sitting in a room for too long during daytime :) Nights were quieter so sleeping is great.
This was a business trip, had a lot of meetings within the hotel too, they have quiet meeting rooms which were perfect.
I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again

The hotel is a lot nicer than the pictures show. I had an amazing weekend there with my family and everything was perfect. The staff is really kind and made our stay perfect. Hope to be back one day soon!

Very friendly staff in all departments of the hotel.
The receptionist Mr.Aleksandar was very helpful during my whole stay in Belgrade. The restaurant offers also very delicious and traditional meals. Good and comfortable rooms.

The staff is incredibly nice and helpful and the room is clean. The location is in the center of the town. This hotel is very recommendable and worth coming back to!

A very nice hotel with a staff that is A++++. My wife got sick while here on a tour, and EVERYONE bent over backwards to help. Did not charge us for the extra day, helped us with catch up travel arrangements and even WENT WITH US to the rather rude cash exchange office!! The young lady at the bar almost cried when I tipped her!
Only drawback was the bathrooms did not have exhaust fans.
I would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely loved the Privilege room 103, conveniently located close to the hotel reception and restaurant. Very quiet even though being located on the first floor. Clean and spacious room and provides everything you need for a quick business trip. All the staff is really kind and attentive and I will be back to Hotel Mercure for sure.

Got double upgraded to Privileged Room that comes with free minibar (only the first round. Replacements will be chargeable if consumed). Nice queen sized bed in a room that comes with balcony with a view facing the park.

Breakfast spread is quite decent, with good choice of bread and cakes, cereal and muesli, cold cuts and cheese, eggs, sausage and bacon.

The lady handing my check in was very nice and very helpful (Ms Milica). This hotel does not have a carpark of its own but works with the underground carpark of the park opposite the hotel. Cost of parking is Rs1500 for 24 hour pass. They also have 3 days and 7 days passes for Rs3500 and Rs6500 respectively. They will give you a ticket to scan in when entering the carpark, packed in a docket with map and instructions on how to use. Ms Milica patiently explained to me my options of buying a 24 hour parking ticket through the hotel and how it works. Even entered and saved the location in Google Maps in my phone. And two days later when I chanced about her at the lobby, she remembered my name! Hard to find such exemplary service from front desk staff these days, anywhere in the world!

Down side is sometimes the hotel hosts tour groups. Then the breakfast scene can be quite chaotic. Best way is to avoid the crowd in the morning. Or be like me and mingle with them to hear their travel tales.

I was staying at the Mercure hotel during my holidays in Belgrade, I have to say it was an absolutely amazing experience! The service totally exceeded my expectations, especially the staff who were so kind all the time and always there to help with every information I needed! The room was spacy and very cozy, also the restaurant and the food just to my taste. The hotel is located in the city centre, I could visit all the locations that were important to me without having to spend much time commuting. Plenty of bus lines close by so you can reach every part of the city just easily. Big love for Mercure Belgrade, I know exactly where I’ll come back for my next stay in the capital!

Mercure Belgrade Excelsior was one of the reasons we enjoyed our stay in Belgrade so much. The location in the city centre is wonderful for exploring the town or for doing business. The rooms are well appointed and maintained spotless. We didn't have meals in the hotel restaurant and that is why cannot comment.
The best asset, for us though, was the staff. Right from the start of our trip, and here I mean airport, they have been of assistance. We had an issue with taxi transportation from the airport (that is another story, but be warned - arrange this in advance), and it took a phone call to the hotel and just 5 minutes for them to arrange a pick up for us. We are very grateful to Diana, who we didn't meet, but who saved us the inconvenience. From then on, every interaction with the staff - check in and out, payment, printing our boarding cards, wake-up call and arranging taxi to the airport - was easy, efficient and pleasant. I am a member of the Accor hotels loyalty program, which was acknowledged by the staff both with a room upgrade (for which we are thankful) and with a "Thank you" by the staff member who welcomed us (I am sorry for not remembering his name). Anyone who is considering visiting Belgrade, this is the best hotel to stay at.

From the beginning it was a beautiful stay - the young lady at the front desk is a gem. Room absolutely nice and quality of breakfast and excellent. Coffee quality - both from machine and filter coffee not good but everything else was.

I really enjoyed my stay here! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful,the rooms are clean and tidy, the location was perfect and breakfast was delicious. During my vacation this definitely was the best hotel where i stayed , i highly recommend this hotel to everyone!
