Monument to the Executed Partisans of Zlatibor

I loved it! Beautiful view, not too hard to get there for chubby people like me. Stunning sunsets and you can go there even when it's dark.

Zlatibor's landmark. The path is leading you directly from the center and it is well paved. The view is amazing.

The monument itself is a wonderful piece of art. The walk to the location is also nice going along pine forests. There's a bar right next to the monument with indoor and outdoor sitting available. The view is also stunning, so overall don't miss the visit.

Very nice place to visit with great views of the nature and hills around. You get there from Zlativor with a nice walk of around 30 minutes. Recommend

One of the places that you must visit when you are in the centre of Zlatibor. It is 2,6 km from the centre, if you go here for the first time, use the Google maps to find it. About the last one km there is a path direct to the monument. It is on the hill, so if you are in a bad condition, you should go slowly up the hill. It's healthy, relaxing walk to the top, after that you are awarded with the spectacular view on the hills of Zlatibor and look ar the great monument that represent tragedy of few hundred wounded and captured partizans, that are executed by the German forces in the Second world war. Just nearly the monument, you have a nice cottage cafe, where you can relax, enjoy in the view, and drink some refreshments.

Historic place on the top of the hill. There is a walking path from centre of Zlatibor but you can come from whatever side you want, little bit through the forest, little bit through the hills (there are ups and downs but nothing extreme). Beautiful line of sight, windy so everyone flies kites, there is a pub near the monument.

The walk till you reach this point is longhish and if you want to hide from the sun, you'll have to walk through the forest (which is an even better option). You'll even (probably) see some horses passing by!! The monument itself is simple as you can see but the view is very nice.

Very nice view and very nice snack restaurant on the top one should visit in ordercto take a a break after the climb.

The monument itself is unimpressive, but the location is stunning. You get a great view of the surrounding hills and mountains, plus the walk is wonderful - not hard, not easy, and certainly worth it.

Located 2.5km away from center of Zlatibor, with arranged pedestrian path. On a top u can see white granite monument dedicated to second world war. Next to a monument is a restaurant where u can relax a bit. Dominant view is Čigota mountain pick. On ur way up, next to the road u can shop in small local shops, homemade jams, teas, clothes, etc.

Amazing view. One of the best on Zlatibor. Alternative name is Monument on Šumatno Hill. Monument was completed 1967. It is located 5 km from town centre. In the mass grave there are bodies of the 150 executed wounded soldiers as well as of other soldiers that died in later battles.

Nice viewpoint 360° around. Not a difficult hike. It's like 10 minutes walking up the hill from the parking spot. It's not even far from the town. It can be quite windy even in the late spring.

Recommend visiting this monument which is located on awesome view point. It's not far away from city center, around 4km. Nice for walk and maybe riding horses who are located at the bottom of this hill.

Nice place with splendid views. I recommend walking routes through woods that are well marked, pretty wide and sutiable for kids even. But make sure to come back alongside paved main track cuz there You ll find fresh blueberries and blackberries.

Great walk 2.5 km from center of Zlatibor. Fantastic view to highest mountain peaks - Čigota i Tornik.

Nice but very windy:) you can go up by walk and it is a long way, but also you can go with a car, from other side. Just need some stronger car.

A monument dedicated to Partizans that were executed by the Germans, on Zlatibor in 1941. To see this monument, you need to walk, up the hill, almost 2km from the center of Zlatibor... Nice to see, walk and enjoy in clear air...

Great local walk if you stay in Zlatibor. We went at a time close to sunset. Wonderful views.
