Farmer's market "Zeleni venac"

Delicious fresh fruits and vegetables. There are smoked meats around the corner. First time I ate smoke horse meat sausage. That was interesting to say the least. This place has great location and people helping you pick the perfect groceries for dinner.

Great market, great experience. We buy some cheese and meet and we receive as a compliment a cup of Rakia and some stripes for breakfast at 10:30! It was crazy!

I always love to visit the local market in each city I'm traveling to. It was great to have this place located right near our hotel. You can find there very good local products and prices are really affordable. E.g. 1 kilo of cherry cost only 20p dinnar (less tehn 1.5 euro). Athmosphere is nice and it worth a visit even if you don't want to buy anything

Zeleni Venac Market is a wonderful market, where you can find local fresh food and tasty food.
Just walking around is a nice experience you should not miss.
Located in the center of Belgrade, it's still a very typical Serbian place in town, a clear "must see!"

Freshest ingredients coming allround from the Serbia. If you understand the kitchen of the serbia from beg to fruit, cheese to meat visit this friendly sellers and pick some berries from the stahl while you are feeling the kitchen.

Very good location and parking. Very reasonable price of all Vegetables and fruit and meat, chicken and beaf.. small Mall inside the market...

Living place full of small stands with fresh fruits and vegetables. Some sellers offer dairy products, few butchers and separete part of the market offers clothes and household products including tools, plumbing parts and electrical supplies. Open till evening, but better to go there in the morning.

Excellent place. Many stalls with very nice, nearby produced fruits and vegetables, many of them perfectly ripe, and other local products for unbeatable prices. Some products / fruits at the verge of becoming off for more discounted prices.

Lively and lovely place to visit

Fresh produce for good prices. The vendors are very nice and won't try to rip you off either, even if you are a foreigner.

Nice place to meet Serbian market culture, taste different fruits, vegetables, cheese and meat. Take your dinars, Euro is not accepted by every salesman.

The treasure of Belgrade is our green markets! Zelenjak, Kalenic, Bajloni, Djeram, Zemunski green market... If you don't visit one of Belgrade's markets, you haven't even felt the spirit of Belgrade. Zelenjak, my gentlemen sellers...

Genuine and friendly local market in the city center, most of the visitors are local people.

Always full and always fresh. A lot of buses are connected to the place. People are often friendly though some don't know other languages so its really funny to communicate with them. In any case I still recommend that you go and check it out. 😁
