Excellent variety of produce much of which is local

As a rule I hate shopping, but I do like these Serbian markets, plenty of variety of foods and veg, good place to pick up chocolate and other items that are far more expensive in the shops. I would definitely recommend anyone to visit. You will be pleasantly surprised. Next time I will add pictures!!!

In my opinion, the best market in Belgrade. The prices are from 10 to 20 percent lower than, say, at Cvetkova pija. The assortment is similar to other markets. All recommendations!

Great place to try out different unique flavours and drinks, also a great place to get some handcrafted souvenirs by small businesses. Not overcrowded like other Belgrade markets. Recommended

Neighbourhood farmer market,butcher and dairy shops for everyday shopping. Flowers 🌺 too.

Best value market in Belgrade. Good offer and never overpriced. Do not miss Sloba who have best vegetables, butchers Draza, Djerdan (if you like horse meat) and Varmedja, and bread shop on the front entrance.

I like Djeram market. It have a good range of fresh fruit, vegetable, meat and fish stalls as well as a wide range of non-foods too. Make sure you look around all the stalls first as prices can sometimes vary enough for it be worth shopping around. It is a busy market with a really nice lively atmosphere. As well as all that, I feel like it's really good to support these long established markets! It works every day except Monday, although there are a small number of stalls open even then. I would highly recommend giving this market a try.

Great open market. You can try almost everything you buy. There is bakery, fresh fruit and vegetables, cheese and meat, fish, clothes and soaps to buy.

A great place if you want to find organic vegetables and fruits, variety of fresh milk products, meat and fish. Pricier than your usual local store but you at least know what you eat, and it's fresher and more tasteful.

Small market with everything you need. Mesara Jovan has best quality meat, always fresh, and Jovan is always smilling and ready to help.
